Looking to purchase a used y62 series 3, 4 or 5. Is there anything that I should be keeping in mind or looking out for when inspecting?

Are there any mechanical/engine differences in models/years and any to avoid (for example how they fixed the timing chain issue in 2013).

Also I’m looking to keep this one for the next 10 years and get it to over 300,000kms. Is this a realistic goal?
