I recently converted my IPF spread beam spotties to HID. Being a tight arse I bought a $38 kit from an Aussie seller in Sydney (although from the email conversation I would guess he is Asian) called Roadbider.
One of the ballast was DOA so I flicked him an e mail asking if I would need to post it back or send pics of it not working.
He posted another ballast that day. No need to send him anything, just took my word for it and did the right thing.
I have no affiliation ect. He has a 2 year warranty on his gear and did the right thing by me so I am sharing the word.

I got some HID conversions from ebay a while back  - cant remember seller, but they still work fine to... Very bright - glad i got them... thou, they were $110!
