Need to put lift Pump in the 2003 did any recommendations??

First of all Yo Yo, I'm new My flagship : Patrol Y61 2003 ZD30 270000km And now, problem... not first not last... I’ve changed oil 3000 km ago with 1mm more than max and up to this day it was same - zero oil lost. Last week, First day of trip we did hard and long downhill, I used reductor and mostly on 1st gear without brake. when we finished, under the mountain my Y61 on idle shown bright grey smoke from exhaust - something super new - there was no smoke so far, almost zero, and never on idle. But on higher rpms it was ok, so I continued travel, with few more incidents on idle but not very long. Next day morning i checked oil and fro…

Hi, Can anyone identify this chip? Looks similar to a DTE when searching and seems to have the same casing but the DTE chips have buttons, and look slightly different. Searching the numbers on the tag return nothing Also Is it possible to buy a replacement Wiring loom from Injector Pump to the factory loom (with or without the Tee off for the chip)? cheers, Shane

HI MEMBERS , FULLY REBUILT ZD30 NAVARA 2004 , NEW INJECTOR PUMP AND INJECTORS BRAND NEW HEAD , GOT IT UP AND RUNNING but NO FULL POWER IN 4TH AND 5TH , STUGGLES TO GET UP TO 95 CLICKS WHAT HAVE I DONE WRONG HAD THE MAP CHECKED NO FAULTS NEW TURBO, , NO ENGINE LIGHT , COULD HAVE THE VACUAM LINES ON WRONG WITH THE VNT , NEED HELP GUYS , SHOULD GO LIKE THE CRAPPERS WITH A NEW MOTOR , SHOULD I LOOK AT TIMING ,(SURE ITS RIGHT ), SOUNDS LIKE IT IS NOT ADVANCING IN THE PUMP ? I have a front end wobble when between 85 - 95, and when breaking above 85. Also some times when I get above 80km's I get a grinding / bearing rolling noise in front left or front right. This doesn't stop until I get below 10km's. doesn't always happen. Had bearings checked and greased. Can anyone shed some light.

Good morning to all smart Nissan drivers. I have a 2005 Nissan patrol, 3l turbo diesel wagon. After about 40-45 minutes of driving it looses power with a lot of black smoke coming out of the exhaust. Then if I turn the engine off and let it sit for a few minutes it goes again only for the process to repeat itself. Funny enough that it doesn't seem to affect the revs on the engine when it does this. Any ideas please. Thank you

G'day...what exhaust gas temperature can I expect from my new gauge. So far, less than 200c at idle, and 450c working up bigger hills. Running at 240c to 350c generally? Is that OK for a 3 inch exhaust system. By the way, a good modification for a 3 ltr Patrol, as you all know! thanks. B. i

G'day everyone! My dad has 3L 2000 patrol and were really stumped as to what's going on with it, it starts fine and runs good for 15-20 minutes and then starts conking out, he can have his foot flat on the accelerator and it will go but it jerks around and won't go over 20km,pretty much just dies if he takes his foot off but will chug along if he just keeps putting his foot down,he can pull over for 5 minutes and then it will run good again for 10-15 minutes and do the same,we've taken it to 3 mechanics and no one knows what it is,no codes show up and no engine lights come up,we've changed the fuel filter but it sort of seems like no fuel is getting through or something,c…

G'day all was just wondering if anyone could help explain why my 02 3LTD had a shudder when starting and even though was running fine now I have loos of power, 3rd gear flat to the floor and it's a slug. My egt gauge is sitting pretty high aswell when just accelerating through the gears up around 4 I back before it gets to 5. I'm gonna clean the maf sensor today and probably replace it if there's no change, any help or advice would be great cheers, newbie westy

Hi, We are going to the cape in Aug and leaving from Brisbane for 4 weeks. Does anyone have any must see or do things while we are up there. We are looking at the doing the old TT (goes without saying) creb track, bloomfield track, frenchmans line, loyalty beach, day trip to T island etc, Also thinking of crossing the jardine and not using the ferry. Hey guys I have a 1995 GQ with a 4.2lt diesel motor as of late while driving at around about 3000rpm it starts a kind of surging wont go any faster then about 95km per hour and that's pushing it. Its fine driving around town but as soon as I need to go out of town it starts a kind of surging and blowing white smoke. I put a new fuel filter, air filter and ran some diesel injector cleaner through it which did not change a thing I have taken it to my mechanic where it ran fine for them. the only problem they found with it was a hose clamp was missing on the injector pump which they replaced they then test drove it and it still rand fine for them. Lying in bed last night I got a brainwave. It happens every 10-20 years. I built a an oil burner a while back that works on draught alone. Burns pretty clean and puts out awesome heat though most of it of course is in the flue gasses rather than radiant. The thing is an old casserole type pot I cut a large hole in the top and sat an old fire extinguisher on that I cut the top and bottom out of and put a load of holes in the sides. On top of that I put a length of 4" Pipe. Around the edges of the lid of the pot I put 4 1" holes. The fire burns in the pot and gets the primary air through the 1" holes then goes into the secondary chamber where the air mixes…

My son Finished school this week and had his formal on Monday and graduation today. On monday night there were about 50 Kids and proud parents all converged on a teachers house where they caught a Vintage Bus to go into the function in the city. Out of all the parents there, I saw on little P&S camera. Everyone else was snapping away madly on their phones. Today it was about 1500 parents and while I saw maybe 20-30 real cameras and only a few SLR's, again there were HUNDREDS of people squinting into their phones ( and a few Iplads) Snapping away at what really were a fine Bunch of kids. I'd like to upgrade the Alternator on the TD 42. There are so many higher amp and far cheaper thing is I could use but the problem is the vac Pump. Wondering if anyone knows of any electrical or mechanical ( belt) driven pumps I could use to replace the one on the alt that wouldn't cost as much as a new alt with pump to start with? Other than that, anyone know of any relative straightforward ways of adding a 2nd alt? I thought I read of something one time but don't remember how it went.
