I have a metalic scrapping noise that is intermittant.

I only hear the noise when the motor is ideling, if I rev the motor the noise goes a way.

Th noise seems tyo be comming from the front of the motor and is intermittant.

check your distributer, i only say that because mine started making this nasty metal scraping sound also and pulled it all apart and the bearings where dry added lube and good as new
