My gq tb42 motor is over revving. What happened is I just started my car up in the cold and drove it easy up the road then I put the accelerator further down and it started coughing and splattering obviously cause the automatic choke was still on. Strait after that it just revved out and I've checked the throttle which doesn't seem to be stuck.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated?

Define over revving.  Is it like going to max revs on its own or is it increased idle speed....

Max revs on its own?

Looks like you've got carby stuck in max position. take the intake pipe off and have a look if you can see throttle flap closed, than see if you can operate it manually.
