buying 2001 gu II patrol

hi there I am seriously looking at buying a 2001 gu II patrol with 280000kms dont think anything has been moded to the engine can i get a few year out of it before it goes BOOM

You are buying worn out used car, its engine can expire anytime. Unless you are getting it extremely cheap and you are handy with spanners stay away.

yeah got it for 10G with 35 inch tires roof rack 2inch lift for better or worse got it has not had anything done to engine it runs nicely  sholud i do any of the nads or just wait for the boom done 291000ks starting the grande fund now

Oh well, now you've got it may just as well fix the NADS to it. Not that expensive and Dawes and needle valve will transform it for better.

ive got same model, 200k on odo, same thing, no mods done. has service history and all seems fine. with a diesel i expect to double the odo, it will either continue to run without blowing up or it wont, it is not a garuntee that all engines that have not had nads done will blow up, its actually a small % that have considering the amount that have been sold here in Aus.
