I have been following this forum for some time, especially when something comes up with the vehicle.

We have a 2004 model 4.2 manual patrol from new that we have taken to many places across this great country. It is our second patrol, first one was a 2000 model 3litre auto which also took us to a lot of remote places.

I had a 3"exhaust with mod turbo installed from new along with diff locks front and rear and winch. Inside we did the usual things, drawers, shelves etc as well as a HF radio for communication. Fundamentally the vehicle has done a lot of off road miles with only one problem whin a rear coil cup split, however that was self inflicted. (Long story)

I am currently replacing the exhaust on it and keen to do some further mods to improve performance - I have never been really happy with the performance.

I am looking forward to becoming part of the forum community and getting feedback as well as contributing when appropriate.
