I can assure you its real. Im a member of patrol4x4 (user: slim) - After the last 4 or so days of seeing it virus infected I had had enough - So I started this joint. I run a hosting business so I have the server resources to host such a forum and the budget stretches to allow the purchase of the latest copy of Invision Board (which this forum runs). I have a graphic designer working on a new logo. Obviously if the patrol4x4 forum gets its act together and removes the problems then no one will want to come here - Its empty! But from what I read over there, it seems the owners were either not contactable or dont seem to care. I can also assure you I had nothing to do with infecting the patrol4x4 site. Site infections are very common - When people use old code its only a matter of time. The patrol4x4 forum uses vBulletin 3.8.3 - an old out of date version. No doubt some hackers or even a robot found the old forum code and exploited it. Anyhow - The option for users to sign up here is open.. Im not expecting anyone to come accross unless the patrol4x4 site goes belly up.

Welcome to your new Nissan Patrol Forum This forum was started in a real hurry due to another popular 4x4 forum contracting a virus or some sort of malware. It seems the other site wasnt managed by its owner and its users were frustrated. I have the resources to get this forum up and going and to keep it that way.
