  2. welcome mate, wow didn't take you long to put your mark on it! Ha Ha I made my own sliders and boy have they taken a beating and prevented a lot of damage! If your keen and can weld this is the best and cheapest option IMO anyway.

  4. thanks Fathom, I take it you have crossed the jardine river? And yes there are two vehicles. Another question how did you go for fuel and supplies? I only have the 90 ltr standard tank. Also how well sign posted if at all is it up there? are paper maps ok or should I be looking at getting a hema or equivalent?

  6. Hi, We are going to the cape in Aug and leaving from Brisbane for 4 weeks. Does anyone have any must see or do things while we are up there. We are looking at the doing the old TT (goes without saying) creb track, bloomfield track, frenchmans line, loyalty beach, day trip to T island etc, Also thinking of crossing the jardine and not using the ferry. Any thoughts would be much appreciated. Rob
