So then decided i needed the cooler higher and more forward. so i flipped the power steering cooler and got rid of all the hard pipes. they were in the way of the intercooler pipework anyway. i put the ps cooler behind the intercooler. much better now.

Jacket_1985 replied to Shorty1989's topic in Nissan Patrol GQ/Y60 & Ford Maverick (GQ Patrol, 1988–1997)Can you have a go yourself mate? just need to tape it off nice and straight, get a 4inch angle grinder and a decent slitting disc, cut it about 20mm lower than you want it for the first go, then once you have a feel for cutting it, go easy and cut along your line/tape.

Sold one of the LR tanks, fitted my twins(airlockers), and my new gears. looks like iv sold my other diff centers, My 33's were useless after fitting 4.6's, so i bought a set of new wheels off greg @ G&S tyres to go on my 37 procomp's for road use. so happy with how they drive. i LOVE them.

They are bead locks. and im not sure that they are illegal, it is illegal to weld a steel wheel for instance which is usually the way people make a beadlock, but im not sure that an allied savannah or walker evans as a factory beadlock is illegal.
