A bit more detail on what is being done.

The car has been fitted with a marks bell housing adapter kit and is running an exceedy clutch and flywheel.

The clutch master and slave have been replaced to get a bit more throw. The gauges are cam bus driven and ran off the Nissan computer, with that now gone the gauges need to come out and be rebuilt to suit the the new setup ( this isn't required for a pre CRD conversion)

The exhaust is going to consist of custom extractors plumbed into the existing 3" exhaust.

Air con and power steering lines are all being custom made to suit and a custom ally radiator is being fabbed to help keep things cool. The wiring harness is now on its way back and should be here early next week.

Looking forward to seeing VIDEO. Pics are cool, but this IS 2012 not 2009!!

Looking good!! Also looking forward to seeing fuel economy figures to compare with 4.8 P figures.

I have now sold the 33" claws and have bought a second set of 17" factory alloys. The plan being to run 6 rims with tyres for touring and the remaining 4 running 35-37" muddies for playing.

I've decided to get a set of KM2s but I am waiting to test fit a 35 onto the factory rim to see if the offset gives enough clearance.

Jeez, did you win a lotto or something??

Nice rig mate, I just brought myself 08 CRD in white and I'll see how it goes!

Keep up the good work!

Cheers

The weekend saw the patrol a few steps closer to completion.

On Saturday I removed the lift and took off the light bar and rear work lights ready for the pits, I also fitted the front bash plate. ragatade.jpg

I also took some more pics of the exhaust, seeing as I didnt get any during fabrication.

Sunday saw the fitting of the wiring harnesses and wiring up 99% of the car. The fuel tank was dropped and the new sender and pump fitted and the extra wiring ran. The computer was fitted after a custom mount was fabbed and the wiring for the trailer brakes was ran.

During the day the Heater hoses, and intake mountings were test fitted.
