September 21, 201213 yr comment_6557 Hay guys. After putting some thought into it.. This is the outcome. It is similar to others out there but different. It fits up using 25mm SHS between the door and wheel carrier, but being one piece it is stronger than the GQ itself.. So I have made it so a mud slinging 35" sporters can fit to when completely collapsed, I'm running 31x10.5's and have 35mm of clearance between the pole and the wall. (I can make shorter collapsed heights but it will affect overall height.) At the 35" hight it extends to 300mm above the roof level for a good all round angle. Any questions feel free to ask. (I have over 10mtrs of steel left if you would like one.) Thanks for looking. Sent from a device which doesn't always agree with my thumbs... Edited September 21, 201213 yr by BigGQWesty Report
September 22, 201213 yr comment_6569 Very well done. Probably saved yourself about $300+ at accessories shop prices and come out with a lot better product. Nothing more satisfying than a DIY project you know is better than anything you could have bought. Report

May 9, 201312 yr comment_7258 Ive got the kaymar light (fits the kaymar rear bar) - looks good and all, but even when im camping I dont find myself using it a lot.. Thou I have a camper trailer with all sorts of 12v stuff in it. Maybe it might be more useful when im going alone (no family) and in a tent.. I could see it being more useful then. Report
May 9, 201312 yr Author comment_7259 I use mine for a bit more light overhead as my draw system has the prep and a pull out table And it aids the strip light. But also throws a great light when reversing. Got the switch on the center console..Kallen WestbrookOwner ofWesty's Accessories Report
