Will the manual hubs from my old GQ fit as a replacement to the auto hubs on a series 2 GU?

As far as I know yes they will fit. The only real difference between the GQ and GU on the front suspension was the wheel bearing lock nut... other than that I think they are identical.

Yes, they will fit but don't forget to obtain "egg spacer rings" as well and make sure  the shaft end float is within certain tolerances between the shaft's circlip. You will need shorter bolts too.

Converting auto hubs to manual takes 10 mins, vice and large screwdriver to pry out the auto clutch. Good as any manual hubs conversion.
