  1. You can buy laser cut in fill plates on eBay for like $30 delivered. I done my own quarter chop only threw in a rough in fill. And now I have my rear bar I gotta cut it up higher as it just fouls, just something to consider.
  2. My auto locking hubs died with a few weeks of me owning the car ( 96 gq ). I opted for removing the auto mechanism from the auto hubs, therefore turning my auto hubs into manual hubs. And have never had a problem with them since.
  3. I've only skimmed over the thread as I'm off to bed, but here's my 2c. It's not a td42, but still a diesel. My rd28, when I needed new plugs I found out the rd28 plugs were $100 each for the ngk's so I bought cheap nasty ones from a local store at about $20 each. They work, but on a cold morning I have to glow the car 3 times over before cranking otherwise it won't start. And even when it's warm outside I still have to glow it twice before attempting to start it. At least if the engine is at operating temp I only have to glow it once. So, at least with the rd28 I'm not real keen on the cheap nasty plugs. As that's exactly what they seem to be, cheap and nasty. At least you td42 guys have more options and at better prices. Matt

Just found this site, so joined up. On a few other sites under the same name. I drive a 96 gq st rd28 turbo lwb wagon patrol. 2" lift. 31's. winch. Arb winch bar. Boost and fuel wound up. Turns 35's with ease, but I sold those for 37's soon to come, see how the little 2.8 goes turning those Well, that's the intro done and dusted. Matt.
