May 22, 201213 yr comment_3330 Can some tell me if it's possible to remove the sump with the engine still in place. Will I need to jack the front up and drop the shocks, sway bar etc? Thanks in advance. Report
May 22, 201213 yr comment_3341 Oh, you're after info on historical engines. I can say with authority that you can remove the sump, in situ, on another ancient engine, the SD33, so the same could be for that old timer. Cheers Ray Report
May 22, 201213 yr comment_3350 Yes..the sump can be removed in chassis...also unlike a zd30..you can get to alot of other parts on the motor Dan Report
