I don't understand why this topic is raised by yourself all the time lol.
If you need to run majority of windows software just run windows. There is alot of major software recognizing Linux as a real os nowadays but there's still a major gap between them all. If it troubles you to be confident and get various things operating on Linux stick to windows as you keep flogging the dead horse.

Ray......oh I wish I was not wanting to reply on my phone. What is it with you Linux? Your obviously intregued by it and a tech enthusiest at heart.

A person could be forgiven for wondering why Linux e.g Ubuntu is not better than the commercial Os's available with all the community developers around.
Its not really aimed at the average person although I have seen such comments.

Linux is for power users, who like to mess around or who want a Rock solid os on a very secure kernel which is why most servers around the world are Linux/Unix machines.
You can emulate a windows environment as such with Wine as you have with oziexplorer. Although it will not be as smooth due to not having direct access to things such as ram or hdd .

Fragmentation is not only Linux. Have a look how many variations of windows there is or has been at various release cycles.
As you know I'm a big Linux and osx fan and I loath iOS .
I really think that a lot of people do not understand the importance / attraction to Linux. There's a lot of things that people use on a daily basis that has a Linux kernel and don't even know it.
I for one do not like to be dictated about doing this or that. Hence why I hate iOS .

Linux has come along way and is not for lazy people who like to click .exe files and sit back. These people don't need a PC they need an iphone and be like all the other zombies around.

We don't need all of the narcissistic crap that was going on with the other forum here and admin would do well to take notice of this!

All good...back on the road and running sweet now after a leaking injector pipe fixed

That forum is running as I just checked.
One funny thing I just read on there. Someone asked when is forum going to be fixed and the reply stated that they can't do anything is owner has banned moderators from admin access and has gone MIA again. Lol
Got to feel for those moderators as they have put a lot of time into it and it doesn't seem to be paying off.

I use Caltex Delo 400 multigrade and my pootrol love it...

Yeah they are using acl rebuild kit. I can post some photos when i get it back as there going to save the pistons for me. One very noticable issue was the manifold extremely restricted on cylinders 3 and 4.
I had injector pump tested and no issues found. Very well know diesel place up here has informed me that they do atleast 1-2 engine failures a week and reckons to date they have never seen failure caused by injector pump. From what they have noted being shit pistons and restrictions in manifolds from buildup. They also noted that the injectors and pumps are quite good on the zd30. So we have gone with only new injectors and glow plugs.....Dan
