heyhey
No flex = Substitute with diff locks (unless it is an Australian Market where they'll likely be used, abused and claimed on Warranty)
oilrig6
Nissan have gone and done a new colour upgrade on the Y62. You now order it in same green as like the wrc ford BP focus rally car. In simple words "lime green" and it looks bloody awesome. But they should do alloys in gloss black but in middle east that be matt black due to sand. I guess that's why they left them in the silver grey paint.
KMsMK
I hope when the diesel comes out it is more reliable than the 3.0L and more powerful than the Toyota v8 diesel. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ray!
I'd say enjoy what you have. By the time the new Patrol comes out with a diesel engine, it will cost more than the Pathfinder, which I believe is around $75,000 with the 3.0lt V6 diesel. Put that or something bigger in a Patrol and watch the price go up. Also, without getting into debates about off-road capability, I understand that the new Patrol is a fair bit longer and wider than the current model; bigger than a 200 series. That, I think, will really have an impact on it's bush capabilty, or will be great for clearing overgrown tracks - trip leader. Cheers Ray

It would make a great tourer though. I really like the new & old style challengers. They could be made to be good offroad trucks. Nutta
I read elsewhere the possibility of a v8 diesel in them too, that would be nice! Bogmeister

NIZZBITS
January 2013 is just about set in stone now. V8 petrol only. They were testing a few diesels but from what I know that is for the repowered Y61. I don't the the Y62 will have a diesel variant for a long time if at all. The V8 petrol (with cylinder shut down) will be more economical than any diesel they can produce at this time so can't see them doing one just for us rednecks. The guys in the sand don't want one and that is their major market.
Rumcajs
Wow, GU (Y61) with with decent Diesel motor, is that even possible or is the price about to skyrocket to extra 30 grand for the new engine gearbox combo like with the Pathfinder/Navarra siblings Cheers Edited June 17, 2012 by Rumcajs
