May 21, 201213 yr Author comment_3237 I think it's an insult to destroy what appears to be some very nice timber just to make an iPod docking station, or one for any music payer, phone etc. Why not just use a boulder? Cheers Ray Report
May 21, 201213 yr comment_3238 Imagine clipping that to your belt and going for a jog!! And it's ugly!! Report
May 21, 201213 yr Author comment_3241 Here's a few more, less timber used, but still just as stupid: I guess taste doesn't matter when sustainability is at stake. Cheers Ray Report
May 21, 201213 yr Author comment_3245 I would rather try and make something out of that wood than burn it; however, my woodworking skills are about as good as my music skills. Cheers Ray Report
May 21, 201213 yr comment_3263 Yeah um hate to say it but I started my fire last night with bits of select grade blackwood. Bought the stuff @ $3,500 m3, big enough for some crafty stuff but off cuts from a bed room suite I'm working on. felt a bit guilty but hey you gotta keep warm! Report

May 21, 201213 yr comment_3276 Yes, 200 x 38 select grade, skip dressed, kiln dried blackwood in cubic meter packs. If I was into turning small stuff I'd have a use for the off cuts, but it get used for solid benchtops etc Edited May 21, 201213 yr by Arch Nemisis Report
May 21, 201213 yr comment_3278 All I can say is the designer that did the smaller bits especially has their taste in their arse. None of it goes together, relates or in any way to is asthetically pleasing. I have no idea why they selected wood but I'm sure with the right talent it could have been something. Looking at what they have come up with, I'm not all together sure that "Wood" isn't plastic, Either way, the presentation and execution is a fail. Report
