A neat way to increase the GST
Yep! It will be the same old pathetic story.... " Oh, we didn't know they had made it so it can't be repealed" " We didn't know they had signed some agre2ement. " It's all their fault, as much as we want to be the good guys we can't because it's all their fault." Same crock of chit every time there is a change of Gubermint. Pigs arse they didn't know. They know perfectly well they are lying through their teeth but its not about anything but lining their own pockets and telling whatever filthy lies they have to in order to get what THEY want. Politics is the biggest scam in the world. Y2k And globlal warming isn't a pi$$ in the sea compared to this crap.

Local And OS Pricing.
Was looking at Ebay last night for camera accessories. Quite bewildering range of useful stuff they have now and a lot I didn't know was even available.. One thing that stood uot even there was the difference in the products listed from China or Hong Kong and the SAME Thing Being offered by Oz sellers. I bought a Flash battery pack for $25 Delivered when the cheapest one from a local supplier was $79 + postage. I also got a timer grip for $47 with 2 extra Batteries and a remote for $47 with postage, nearest local guy was over $100 with NO batteries or remote PLUS postage. In this case I'm sitting on my arse right in front of the computer so wether I buy from Who flung Dung or Aussie Wayne, I still get the SAME made in china product delivered to my front door. The difference is I have so much more left on my card to buy more things I can actually use ( like a set of TTL remote triggers or a wireless Monitor so I can see what the camera does from 100M away and trigger it. or a calibrator for my monitors and printers) if I buy from OS. Now, all I need to do is find a china supplier for the 24-105 and 17-40 L series lenses I want. If I can find someone, I'll put down for a 400 2.8L as well. I'll take a couple of 1Dx's as well. No, actually I'll get 10 of the buggers and -I'll- resell them for a killing here!

A basic Guide to Using Veg oils as Fuel.
KFC just changed from hydrogenated oil ( absoloutley Terrible stuff from a health POV!) to Canola I think it is. Much better for your health ( Even if you are already a slob that doesn't worry much about that) and for running vehicles on. Anything liquid is Fuel of the independent. IF you can sweet talk the manager, KFC have tanks that have 1.5" Male camlock fittings on them. You have to pump the oil out because it won't drain the way they have that tank set up which feeds/ emptys from the top Via a diptube. You could always offer to do an exchange of a slab every couple of months for the oil. Liquid currency speaks all all languages. The oil will be in a tall tank out the back behind the roller door. Older KFC's have a separate garbage area in the car park, the newer ones have it in an area of the main building next to the drive through. They WILL have a collector so remember to find out what week of the month they come, and get there the Sunday morning of the weekend before. Same with any other collectors. Generally they collect once a month so check the drums every week for a while till you find out what week of the month they call. Round here it's the 3rd week but obviously that varies from area to area as they cover the whole city or come into that town. I wouldn't bother with Maccas. All the food bits from the burgers and pies ends up in the same place. You could have a look and be careful to pump from the top of a tank if they have one but I think they may have something similar to KFC. You might be lucky and they have a 400L tank. Driving round and checking out the rear of the shops is the best way to see what oil is accessible and what is oil/ lard etc. And remember, It's easier to ask for forgiveness than try and get permission from self important lame arses that want to make mountains out of mole hills over what is actually rubbish and stuff you around on their ego trip and have a reflex action to say NO to anything they don't really understand.

Water injection.
The pump you have must be stronger than the ones I use. I get just over 300Ml min with mine. Perfect! Good to see you are not scared to squirt some in there! That's what I used as well. Also tied the nozzle front and back on the air cleaner lid so the thing stays in the same spot. I think at 30% you will still notice the go. If you want a bit more, Run 50% for your first tank to speed the cleaning process. Then you will really notice the difference. If you don't, the thing probably isn't working.

Good, cheap LED torches
Awesome! You learn something worthwhile every day. I never made the connectioon between the battery and the holder before. It looks like the 3.7 Batteries are about twice the capacity of the AAA"S. I'm sure the ones I bought not so long ago are only 900Mah and given the voltage rating, the AAA's are obviously in series not parallel. I'll definitely get me some of them. Are there any replacement cells for the 4xAAA my Led Lenser uses??

A basic Guide to Using Veg oils as Fuel.
You will find most are accounted for with the Cowboy collectors. Now -some people- whom have had experience with collectors, don't have a lot of respect for them and their ways of poor service and standover tactics to competition, Just scout around the backs of restaurants and laneways and pump out or pick up what they can find. Other people look at collectors drums as a sign the place is taken, some look at it as a sign of where the liquid gold is. For this reason it pays to have a pump and a drum(s) to pump into. To source oil, don't forget places like Bowling/ RSL/ Various clubs, take always in industrial areas, Restaurants ( especially Asian ones, NO lard there ever!) and function centres. There is a lot more sources of oil than just fish and chip shops. When you do come up against the collectors and the people that tell you they already have a collector, just ask if they would give you SOME of it? Often people will be happy to GIVE YOU ( magic words) some of the oil. If it's up to you, the some can be most of it bar the slops and fats in the bottom you don't want anyway. It really is all in the sales pitch! If Lard/ Frytol is all you can get, then Bio may be your best choice after all. You will have to cut it in winter to stop it gelling up but you can still save plenty of money replacing your diesel with it. I think if you expand your potential suppliers, You'll find liquid gold rather than having to make Bio with the white solids.

I have some torches that have AAA"s in a little holder. Are the 3.7v batteries ( 1850??) a direct replacement to drop in without the holder?

Local And OS Pricing.
I touched on this the other day in another thread but had another reminder of it today. I was recently looking for some parts and the pricing discrepancy's between local and OS sellers were amazing. The best local price I could find on GP's was $20 ea. Got a set from OS which arrived in 8 days and cost $30.40 delivered. A clutch here best I can find is $525. OS price delivered is $230 Belt tensioner here is $240+, os, 160 del. I was talking to a mate earlier this morning who also had a similar story. He wanted the Lettering for his $100K range Rover sport. Price here, $250 each end. Got the same GENUINE kits from OS for $29 + 12 postage for the tailgate AND the bonnet. Like he said, buying localy is all good and well but how the Fk can you justify a difference between $500 and $41 for the exact same product?? He also mentioned brake rotors that were $700 a corner here that he got shipped over for under $300 for the SETand the seller was freaking at the $120 postage. My mate said he couldn't stop laughing. He said when they arrived and he took them to his mechanic, he said they were a good long established brand ( couldn't remember which one) and he didn't believe my mate got them so cheap till he showed him the receipt. Now while I realise there is a differences between an online and retail/ commercial setup but geez louise!, if someone can make money at the prices they are selling stuff for and the buyer can pay the most expensive shipping rate being individual items compared to bulk containers etc, why the hell is there such a massive Difference??? It extends to other things like electronics especially. And while some ignorants think that Chinese especially is ALL crap, my experience has been totally different. Sure there is a lot of crap but there is also a lot of stuff that is the equal or better than the original or made locally. I know with stuff I have bought, even industrial stationary engines, I'd pay MORE for the Chinese stuff than some of the original because in copying the original, the Chinese have designed some of the faults and weaknesses out and ended up with a better product you can clearly see the difference in. And then of course we have the tossers like Gerbil Harvey that is the most exy retailer out there bleating that 10% TAX makes a difference when they are about 50% dearer than any local let alone OS retailer. I suspect that guys position is so stupid his bleatings are really more about getting some ink in the paper on a slow news day and landing some interviews in the hope of free advertising. What sort of price differences have other people found between local and OS suppliers?

A basic Guide to Using Veg oils as Fuel.
Just check what the fish and chip shops use. I could get a ton a week literally of lard but given that it sets up solid at under about 40oC it's not much good for blending or using without making bio and then there are complications with that anyway. There is no best OIl, as long as it's liquid and the more fat free and lower acid number ( meaning it's not been cooked to death) the better. For blending at this time of year and with the temps you are seeing, I'd try a 10% petrol blend. You could go up to 15% if it's still too hard to start but given I'm seeing around 5o in the morning and my old girl with over half a million k's is firing up fine on dead straight oil, I'd be surprised if you needed to go to 15% but if you do, you are still going to be saving 85% on fuel costs. Once the weather warms up a bit you can back the amount of petrol off. There are no hard and fast rules, see how the car goes and after a while you can play with it as needed. For some years now I mix by the tank. If I know the weather is going to heat up or cool off over the next week or whatever time frame I am going to get through that fuel, I'll mix accordingly. If it changes, I can always add more oil to back the mix off or add more petrol. When adding, I usually add the fuel to some oil before I put it in the tank to help with mixing. Veg and petrol mix very readily but if you dump one on top of the other without any agitation, they will tend to sit in their respective levels in the tank. Give them a bit of agitation and they mix easily. The neighbors have often seen me jumping on the towbar and bouncing the car up and down and I know by the look on their faces what they are thinking but there is actually a valid reason for me doing it! For best results with oil in a std engine, I reccomend adding 5% petrol at all times. You don't have to by any stretch in hot weather, I just find if you are running standard timing ( which is Diesel timing rather than oil timing) and fueling, the 5% ULP can give the engines a bit more pep and make up for the slower burning of the oil. As like anyone you will be a bit cautious when you first try this, You can just throw in 25L or so into half a tank of dieso to try it out. Don't be expecting to see any change or hear any difference ( other than the engine getting quieter) because there won't be any. It works quiet seamlessly and disappointingly when you are in trepidation and expecting something to happen because nothing ever does. The biggest change you'll notice is the smell becomes a lot more pleasant. One thing I see a lot of the pedantics comment on with oil is the engine takes longer to start. When you question this you find it's not that they have to sit there turning the thing over till the battery is flat and the starter is glowing red. You find they say " It started on the 2nd compression stroke and now it takes till the 4th. IE, about .5 of a second longer. BFD!! I prefer an engine to turn a good few times before firing so when it does light, the oil comes up to pressure a lot faster. What the benifit or need to have the engine fire the moment you even look at the key escapes my understanding. If you find the thing does take a few more turns, Don't worry. Once they are over that dead cold morning start, you will find it starts pretty much as normal. Based on my 2 years experience, If you have any trouble I'd say its the engine not the oil that's the problem. Last year I had 3 mornings where I live where it was -3. I was running straight oil at that time and did expect trouble but the thing fired up inside of 3 seconds which i was plenty happy with. One morning I drove about 500M to the servo to get some milk and when i came back it restarted straight off. Anyway, start with the 10%

Good, cheap LED torches
I have a P7 and it is a great bit of gear. I was wondering if any of these cheapies live up to their claims. Plenty of them quote numbers 5 times higher than the lenser but i was wondering if that translates to real world performance? I bought some LED torches from Costco a while back, 3 for $24 and they came with duracell batteries. They are pretty close to the lenser in output bar the zoom feature. If other cheapies are as good, one of those 1000 lumen jobs for $49 ought to be a ripper..... if they are good as claimed. I'd love one of the big lensers but at $4-500, a bit much for this little black duck to justify. If I could get something Chinese for $50, though, different story! I was thinking one of the big high output jobs might be good for the old man who is on property. As good as it is, the P7 looks less impressive in the bush where a 200M beam doesn't look near as illuminating as it does in surburbia.

Time for new glow plugs. What's your prefered brand & thoughts
Got the GP's I ordered from the UK yesterday. 8 days, not bad. They are ISKRA brand. Made in Slovenia and we all know there is no substitute for Slovak Engineering and technology!! Just ask any Slovenian Turnip Farmer! The GP timer on my merc was burnt out so someone fitted a manual switch. Thought that was much better than the auto timer on the wifes car which I put a manual over ride on so I knew what was happening with the things. The auto on the Troll and the Pug seem OK but if I burn these plugs too quick I might go to a manual switch again.

Good, cheap LED torches
Looking at ebay there are thousands of Cheap LED torches. Some cite wonderful Lumen numbers but I'm sceptical. Has anyone found good low cost Torches both in a searchlight and pocket type size they could recommend?

Is it the revolution all over again?
Whats the big deal? People willingly post every detail of their lives on fasewaste, all the gubbermint would have to do is surf that site and they could find out more than they ever would with anything else! I spose there are the threats to national security though like me that don't use that rubbish to tell the world their every detail which are boring as hell in reality anyway. If they want to monitor me, Meh, let them. They will get their just desserts in being bored chitless. I'd bet my arse though that this really has very little to do with security and keeping people safe and all that. I reckon there would be a lot more in it to the gubbermint realising they could make a fortune out of databases they created selling them to companies for targeted marketing advertising and to annoy the population with more sales pitches. I'll bet the pollies haven't missed the realisation of what they could do with such info when it comes re -election time either.

A basic Guide to Using Veg oils as Fuel.
Like anyone else that knows anything about veg fuels, I think that site has THE most flawed, misleading, and Plain wrong info you could possibly find on the subject anywhere. Unfortunately because it has been round a long time, it's usually the first one people find at the top of the search engines and it's written in such a way as to sound authoritative. Old Keith Addison has been informed a million times of the blatant errors in the info there but refuses to change any of it because he wrote it and therefore believes it's correct. As far as anyone can tell, Old Keith hasn't actually made any bio himself ever. This is probably one of the more popular sites with this one having one of the best knowledge Pools and is run by a very well informed guy that has contributed heaps to the veg oil/ Bio fuel movement. There is a local site but it is run by a couple of tossers that think theirs don't stink and one especially has a do as I say, not as I do mentality. It amounts to coming off as an expert then admitting he's never actually made bio himself. Are you just looking to run your 4.2 on the fuel westy? If you are, I would suggest you try blending your fuel instead of going the Bio route. Bio is great don't get me wrong, but the fact is you can use Blended veg oil with a lot less effort, equipment and expense than you will incur with Bio. If you had a modern common rail I'd say bio would be the best bet by a country Mile but having run my old girl for 2 years now on straight and blended Veg, I can tell you from practical experience it works and works real well in this engine. If you believe that Bio is all you will be comfortable doing, then the 2 sites I linked to have a wealth of info, even if the first one does suffer from a generous input of the typical over pedantic Yank forum mentality. It will certainly get you started on the right track and you can go on your own experience from there. The golden, undisputed rule with anything veg ( and it's about the only with universal agreement) is before you do a thing or spend a cent, Make sure you can obtain a supply of oil first. No use getting a bunch of equipment and then finding there is no where you can get oil. One of the best things I ever did is getting a rather impressive supply of oil before I even had a Diesel car. It made things sooo much easier all along. If there is anything specific you want to know as you head up the vertical learning curve, feel free to shoot me a message. If you are ever in Sydney let me know and I'll introduce you to a mate of mine who I believe is one of the most knowledgeable ( and modest) people in the WORLD on Bio. I see what he does and plays with and he's done stuff years ago people are still talking about now and knows what works and what doesn't. You'll learn more from this guy on Bio in an hour than you would in a year with a lot of other so called experts.

Forum Mentalities. Another rant.
Hmm, I still think there are dumb questions. If a person that has no knowledge of the subject can answer the question out of plain common sense, as I have seen countless times, then to me it's Dumb. As for teachers with crap english, had that with my son last year. He laid into a teacher after the silly cow screamed at him and sent him out of the room for quietly asking the kid next to him what the hell she was saying. I had heard his frustrations for weeks before hand so I knew some background to the story. The teacher put him on detention and that afternoon before the boy got home, rang me to say he hadn't shown up. Took me about 10 minutes to comprehend that from her. I gave her a serve myself about not being able to understand her and her responsibility to be able to speak so she could be understood and could actually perform her job as a teacher. I then rang and spoke to the principal who was not that old but had modern ideas with old school values. I told him I would not be having the boy penalized because the teacher failed in the basic requirement of being able to communicate effectively and it was up to her to be able to speak English, not my son to be able to understand Punjabi. As the school representative and ordained golden head boy, my son was known and liked by the principal and he admitted in a very "professional" manner that this was not the first complaint about this teacher he had received in her short time at the school and that basically he had to take what the department sent him until he could move them on if need be. He said my son would be cautioned for the way he spoke to the teacher. The next afternoon my son said this amounted to being called to the office, asked " Do you know what you are here for? I have to discipline you over it so consider that done and did you see the football last night?" and a 15 minute talk about that before being sent to lunch 10 min early. The teacher was there about another month but did not return after the next holidays. May have been by her own volition after incidences where she lost control and all respect as the kids paid out on her mercilessly after 3 failed attempts to spell the word "Wednesday" and other numerous examples of incompetence. He enrolled himself in a selective school this year which thankfully has a MUCH higher standard of teachers..... Including a guy that was one of my high school teachers!

Who said dogs are dumb?
Especially a lot of the owners that let them roam free and put the dogs at risk and make nuisances of themselves. Had that with the moron neighbors over the road. The dog catcher threatened to have the dog put down. I told him, the dog is a nice dog, it's the Fing owners that need a bullet.

Forum Mentalities. Another rant.
I agree with the search thing 1000%. I always search before asking a question but in doing that. you realise how completely and utterly useless a lot of the forum software search functions are. The other thing I find is I have no idea what something is called so don't know what to put in the search engine in the first place. I can describe it to a person and they will know what I'm talking about and can tell me what the term is straight off, but that doesn't work with a search engine. There is a couple of forums I look at that have some people that -REALLY- spend too much time there. They can link 10 past related threads to any question off the top of their head that has been demonstrated the search engines can't find. I think they must cross index every thread and post on their own machine! One that gets me is people that ask really DUMB questions. The sort of question that the answer requires no knowledge of the subject itself, just a moments thought with the application of plain common sense and logic leaves no doubt with. Often the answer is in the question itself if they took the time to think about what they are really asking in the first place.

Linux - For who and why
I was going to stay out of this but what fun would that be? All I will say is I find the Learning to use" argument entirely subjective. I'm sure if you come from a Greek family, learning English would be a real bitch and probably have a lot of irrational components to it when you did. Being an English language speaker, I know trying to learn Greek would be a hell of a task Even though the Native Greek speaker would say its a walk in the park compared to English. I remember when I bought my first ever fully automatic electronic camera in the 80's. I knew how to work a camera manually, it was all second nature and what I had cut my teeth on. When I got the auto everything camera, The automatic settings literally confused the guts out of me. I used the thing In manual for nearly 12 months because I knew how to work it that way and it took that long for me to work out and be confident using it in Auto. The thing was, the automatic setting was supposed to make the thing Soooo much easier to learn because I didn't have to do all the things I never thought twice about doing in the first place. Even now, I regularly use manual setting because to me that is easier is certain circumstances than going through the pages of settings my cams have to find the right one to make the auto do what I want in those conditions. These days the amateur camera's have limited control where as the pro camera's have pages of Menus to set the thing up how you want it. The amateur User would find that as daunting as the pro would not being able to have things the way they wanted or trying to figure out how to do it with limited options. Perhaps that's a good comparison, an amateur and a professional OS. I think Linux is more like windows server than something like win 7 The more professional and higher end you go in anything I can think of, the more you need to know about it and the less it does for you. When you do know what you are doing, that usually amounts to having finer control and you find that easier than the more automated methods. I was used to XP then got to learn server. When I finally went to 7, I was tearing my hair out. In Server I could go and setup the network by typing in the names of the machines and giving them the precise level of access I wanted. In 7 there was this " Homeo Group" BS that was ridiculous and XP machines couldn't access the 7 machines. It turned out there was a way around it but NO ONE knew how till they figured it out a couple of years later or MS added it in, which ever the case was. Either way 7 was a complete and utter pain in the arse despite the much touted networking " Improvements". While 7 was supposed to be so easy to use and all that, coming from a server/ linux like way of doing things, it was an absolute freaking nightmare. At the end of the day I think the different systems suit different users. Sure windoze may run more applications and be more compatible with a range of different devices but that's not to say everyone wants " Brainless" computing where as in a lot of situations it is exactly what is required. Trying to argue which one is better is a bit like trying to argue that a Veyron is better or worse than a heavy battle tank. And just to put my comments in perspective, I have about 30 Windows machines and not a single Linux box. I'm getting more inclined to get a copy of a modern linux and give it a try though. :0)

A basic Guide to Using Veg oils as Fuel.
Just re reading my previous post I thought I'd update. I built the new pump with the big motor and the results were dissapointing. The flow is not much more than the pump with the smaller motor. I have only tested the thing rather than used it for a collection so far but at this stage 2 things come to mind. The first is I already have the pump maxed out with the small motor. My hesitation at this idea is that the new motor is clearly turning the thing faster and that alone should be enough to make the flow higher than what it is. The 2nd thought is climate. I can't remember when I tested the other pump, I just remembered the output figure. It's possible I tested it when the weather was warmer and the oil was thinner than it is now in the middle of winter. I spose I could test the pump on warmed oil but I'll try and do a back to back test of the 2 pumps on the same oil and see what difference there is with that. The other possibility that comes to mind is the suction side of the pump is maxed out with the fittings and hose. Whilst the thing can create pressure on the output, it's limited by atmospheric pressure to push the oil in. I can't get any bigger fittings onto the side of the pump even if going another 1/4" may give me the greater flow I expected. I have been looking for bigger pumps I could drive with the bigger motor and I can't really find anything with a worthwhile better flow than what I have. I also came across an old Lucas starter motor that has the straight shaft output and a ton of grunt. I looked at these years ago and everyone told me they would over speed and burn out and other things amounting to them being totally unsuitable. Now I have one and have played with it, I strongly suspect the warnings were i'll founded. I have run the thing for 10 Minutes at a time with no load and it seems quite happy and the heat buildup is nil. I believe now more than ever my initial thoughts of greatly reduced load would offset the heat buildup and allow longer running time. This motor is at least 3 hp so should drive a pretty impressive pump long enough to empty a drum of oil pretty quick. I'm still looking for such a pump. I rebuilt my processor and the leaking pump on that with new seals. I sat a veg oil burner of about 100Kw next to it and had the flame aimed at the side f the drum. Horribly inefficient but with that much power from free fuel, not exactly a worry when the oil got to about 50 o+ in about 10 Min. The settled oil was dry almost as soon as it got up to heat. The fan on the top was sucking in the hot spill air from the burner which was going across the top of the oil in the drum as it splashed around and I suspect this air was very dry and helped pull a lot of moisture from the oil as it passed. I was giving the batches about 30 min in the processor to allow the oil to make sufficient passes to be filtered. With the oil that hot it was plenty thin and flowed through at about 20L a min. Unfortunately I committed a stupidity and burned out my pump motor. After pumping a batch of oil to the storage IBC, I forgot to close the valve on the final filter. I heated the batch and left it to circulate. Because the storage drum is about 20M away, it takes a while to pump the oil out so I never noticed the drop while I was there. I was intending to come back out and finish the batch but I ened up falling asleep and didn't get back to it till the morning. IF the valve was closed and there had been oil in the processor it wouldn't have been a problem but for some reason I suspect the pimp over heated and fried one set of the windings. Rather annoying as I had just rebuilt the pump side and that type of pump isn't easy to come by and expensive when you do. Such is life. Bunnings have some 1" pumps I might give a try as a replacement. They seem to have a decent rotor size, sufficient head and lift rating and are only about $80. I save nearly 4 times that on every 200L batch of fuel I do so worth a shot I suppose. At worst might be a bit slower but I can process for an hour instead of 30 min with no great dramas.

A basic Guide to Using Veg oils as Fuel.
The oil I process I use over about 3-4 months as well. Before that it's been sitting up to 12 months before being cleaned or filtered in any way. The key to storing it is to keep it in a sealed container to limit the exposure to Oxygen. Removing the water is also a real good Idea if you want to keep it long term say a year or more. t's a bit like the Triangle of fire, remove one or more elements and it can't happen. The can't happen in this case is rapid degradation or bacterial activity. Some people add petrol or diesel to their oil to help with storage. Unless you are aiming for years of storage ( for what reason I don't know) Just keeping it in a closed container will be fine. I store the majority of my oil in translucent IBC's but I also try to limit the amount of sunlight They are exposed to by keeping the tanks covered. I don't know if that helps the oil or not but I do know it helps prolong the life of the plastic tank! I had some oil up the back I forgot about and had there for at least 3 years. Cracked the Steel drum and tested it and it was still perfect. I suspect it was better than when I put it in there as it had time to settle the Sub Micron particles from the 1 Um it had been filtered to. Veg oil is Hygroscopic meaning it will absorb moisture from the air. Some of the veg alarmists go on with crap about filling the empty space in a container with C02 or Nitrogen but that is just typical yank pedantic overkill. As long as there is not a refreshing supply of oxygen, the oil will be fine. I usually decant my IBC's about 200L at a time and have never had an issue with polymerization or any other deterioration of the oil.

Who said dogs are dumb?
I can see such a clear mental picture of that I'm cracking up. And here I was a few weeks back thinking some wood in the back may upset the interior condition! Have you managed to get the mud out of the roof lining or you just going to take the easy way out and replace it?? I'm still ringing the furballs owners with no success at all. Meanwhile the damn thing has somehow acquired two little " Jumpers" and a collar. I keep telling the Mrs it isn't ours and I don't want it but she's coming back with arguments it's cold etc. It never leaves the air-conditioned house for more than 2 min at a time, HTF can it be cold?? Just to cement it's place in the new digs, the thing has established it's bed on my sons and is now growling whenever the cats or the rottie gets up there. The other dog will be ok but if the thing looks at my cat the wrong way, there is going to fur from one end of the house to the other and none of it will belong to the cat. The cat has grown up from a tiny kitten with 3 Rotties and kept them in check, it aint going to take any crap from some fur ball it can actually look straight in the eye without having to stand on a chair first.

What's the most Funerals You have been to in a year?
Sorry to hear of your losses. Quite amazing and incredibly sad they should all go so close. Although I appreciate it will be no comfort whatsoever, at least they all led very full lives and had plenty of time. Myself, always found some contentment in that, perhaps through having lost people who were still in their teens. There is no upside to that at all. My grandfather died when I was 12. I'd still have dreams about him and wake up crying well into my '20s. We had a very special bond. I was 27 When my grandmother died, that was a long time coming and I could find peace in it because she was in her 80's and that made more sense than granddad going when he was just starting to enjoy his retirement. Dads parents were gone before I was old enough to know what was going on. Oldies get a lot more blasé about dying and always seem to find a light side to it. I'm sure when you think of them, it won't be long before you have a chuckle as well which would be without doubt the way they would want you to be when you thought of them.
