August 14, 201213 yr Author comment_6292 I've had this winch laying around for ages, I thought it was time to put it in. The winch is a low mount 12000 pound and my bar is a cheesy high mount so it had to be modded.. I found that under the wings of the bar were rusting out so off they went. New tube wings and top of bar cut to suit. I cut some 10mm plate for the base. Tacked in place. A quick test run for the winch to make sure everything still fits then all to be welded up. Then painted. I tested up the hill on the week end and pretty happy happy with it. Report

March 14, 201313 yr comment_7099 Freaking awesome... What are you doing with the floor pan? Kallen Westbrook Owner of Westy's Accessories Report
March 16, 201313 yr Author comment_7104 The floor pan what do you mean? The rear tub ? If that's what you mean it will be storage and sheet the top in so it acts like a flat tray on top and storage under neith. hope I answered your question.. Edited March 16, 201313 yr by tailpipez Report
March 16, 201313 yr Author comment_7105 Got some more done today got the roof welded up with out warping it ( was pretty worried about it warping being so thin ) but come up awesome, Now a have something to work with here some pics. This should clean up really well, a bit more welding then bog time. Edited March 16, 201313 yr by tailpipez Report
March 17, 201313 yr comment_7109 Top job. Yea I was asking about the tub. Didn't know what your plan was for that 4" step behind the rear seats.. Top effort on the welding to get no buckles.. just be cautious when grinding down that you don't take out the parent metal.. if I was you I'd try get a large flat buffer and put a course paper on it, once you've removed most of the weld, finish it by paper then bog.. April 10, 201313 yr Author comment_7187 Just picked up some VY dunnydoor seats this afternoon will post some pictures up as I fit them in. Report
April 14, 201313 yr Author comment_7194 Ok I thought this seats were a straight bolt in from what i have read. They were close but not close enough. I started by re drilling 2 new holes in each seat. Made brackets to mate up to the rails. Brackets all fitted up and painted. All fitted up in the truck one side any way. Bit of a tight fit bit all in all turn out ok. Report
