High Country Trips
This will be interesting times, particularly because budgets have been slashed from DSE and they may not have the capacity to do the work they previously did.

I found nothing on Boarder Track challenging, just adjust your tyre pressures and its pretty boring.

Windows 8
Since AutoCAD was released for Mac I've had no use for a Windows emulated environement or starting up in Windows. Well, at apart from one Uni assignment that required me to install RobotC for programming, but they ended up lending me a Laptop to do it on anyway because I refused to buy Windows because they didn't specify it in the course requirements. I hate programming as I have other skills I'ld rather learn so most of my computer use is documents, media, drafting and internet. Mac can do all that, and do it in a very user friendly way. But alas, Windows can too.

What have you won for camping?
I won a full collection of Ninja Turtles cards, never been touched sitting at the olds house, I'll trade it for camping gear, they are probably worth a bit now!

Windows 8
It has been said from day dot that Win8 will be interfaced completely different to the Win95-Win7 layout. Looks like you'll be learning again Ray, might have to jump ship now to save face!

Help... Tablet pc
Chinese knock off, but looks pretty good as long as Windows is authetic and you don't need to buy a licence for it when you connect to the internet. I'ld be considering one of those for Navigation in the car! Nice screen size for dash mounting

Help... Tablet pc
7" is small, standard is around 10". I just bought a 10" Android tablet, and I have now come to loathe (opposite to love) Android. It is conveluded for no reason. I'ld be willing to bet it is not exactly as it is made out to be, the battery will be a POS and won't last an hour, it'll have a rubbish version of the Android OS (2.1 I see, not so good), it'll most likely be very slow, speakers may be rubbish, no GPS even though it says it can run maps (can run the map, not show your location). It's cheap enough for the risk, but I spent a little more and managed to get a Flytouch 5 that has much more (twice the processor, very new OS, GPS, 10" screen, etc) and if I was an Android user, I'ld probably appreciate it, but for me there is no substitue for Mac (calling all Ray's ). I'm not saying that you need to get an iPad, just saying I don't like the looks of those specs (or lack there of).

Is Facebook making people dumb...
The best thing about getting kids to use the net, is treaching them how to search properly and hopefully, they'll be getting taught referencing techniques such as the Harvard system. That might actually make them good Forum users

Diesel Chips
Yeah I would normally run 40psi, but at the time, I had gone offroad then drove to Albury without pumping them up (actually had them at those pressures for close to two months )

Diesel Chips
I have only done 200km with the CRD, haven't filled her up yet, so not sure. She is currently in a million pieces as I'm adding all my accessories at the moment so may be a little while off getting figures.

Diesel Chips
Thats pretty bad, with 285/75R16 BFGoodrich muddies at 30PSI, manual DI, with a roofrack, 400kg payload, chip and 3" exhaust 4000km off a service, I was getting 12L/100km on a mix of slow steep winding mountain roads and freeway between Yarra Junction VIC and Albury NSW (~300-350km) with my DI. Without the roofrack on the same trip and eveything else the same on the car, I was getting about 9-11L/100km depending on wind. Even off road never seen 16L/100km
