Even in places where it is cold, they all need to do it, as they can self insulate so much plus other biological process they can actually self-combust.
  2. Pretty good over here, suprisingly REALLY user friendly, so many features and bits and pieces that make it really good to work with. So, Welcome!
  3. I started and finished editing my threads from today way eariler than 3:00PM. I haven't modified them now, but I can't get any warnings from them. Maybe not me? Gotthepoos, was it me or not, no names otherwise

Holy shit, that is a WICKED excavator!
  5. In my early 4x4 days, I used a snatch off the loop on the rear, one more snatch and the thing would have torn off the car. It bent the hole loop assembley and broke the weld on the captive nuts inside the chassis.
  6. Haha good spotting,
  7. Could have been me, I copy and pasted text and accidentally picked up a hyperlink. I deleted it straight away. Would have been there for 5mins eariler today
  8. I uploaded a heap of pictures today from posts from P4x4, but they are hosted on Photobucket and not on P4x4. I may be the culprit but is there a way to scan my threads?
  9. True to that Ray,
  10. Haha, I think I'll sell it with the car soon. Unless someone wants to do a swap.
  11. Yeah, it is getting emotional over there, I haven't been trolling there like usual so not really keeping up with the current attitudes of people that aren't posting in the threads about the forum being 'fixed'. Well it sounds like the owner has now decided to take action, interesting times ahead as he could just pull the plug and let the domain licence expire.
  12. I had the GPS going on the Hume from Wallan to Seymour the other day, Speedo was showing 110km/h and then GPS, 117km/h. Before I get too carried away, best to pull it apart and know what I have got myself into
  13. Rather why not move over here and go back to the good ol' days! I'm starting to bring some of my stuff across, once Outers falls down again, I think we'll see the numbers spike here.
  14. Nothing is yet known or proven, only done 200km with it. It has Airlockers (maybe someone changed the ratios) and that is it. 265/75R16 tyres, nothing else. Once I finish my three Uni assignements this week, I may have some time to strip the thing and get to know it a bit better.
  15. And for those wondering where to get the flangless hubs for the swing aways. http://www.trailerparts.net.au/assets/catalog.pdf
  16. Here is some pics of the build Don't laugh at my crappy workmanship ...Nah you can. Duck shit welds!
  17. G'Day Folks, It will include a dual jerry can holder that doubles as a bin in the near future (just got to get a number plate light for it) and then it will be fully complete. And no it doesn't weight that much it leans really bad, thats just my flat tyre I used wheel nuts to bolt the tools on so if I need another wheel nut, it's already there!
  18. When it starts running really inefficient and even after fixing everything else the problem isn't fixed From my readings the 2007s seem to be the really inefficient fuel guzzelers, I haven't ran a tank of diesel through yet, haven't given it a service and haven't toyed with an exhaust or power module yet, but thought I would just ask the question. Also, I noticed my Speedo is reading under the speed, so this will make the odometer quite far out considering my Wagon reads (from memory) about 4% less distance travelled that actual. Cheers,
  19. And this is how it is now (for now) Procomp 16"x8" alloy wheels 285/75R16 BFGoodrich KM2 mud tyres 3" Suspension lift, with flexy coils, Bilstein Shocks, Superior Drop Boxes, Superior tie rod, HD drag link, extended sway bar links Front Air Locker with compressor Marks Adapters 43% Transfer Reduction Gears AVM HD manual hubs Dual Batteries with Red Arc solenoid, one century battery & one optima deep cycle Steel dual wheel carrier steel rear bar (only has one carrier), comes with & holds highlift jack, shovel, rear work light, axe. (Will do a DIY thread for this) Steel rock sliders/sill protectors Dawes Valve DPChip performance chip 3" exhaust with hi-flow cat & muffler Full length storage system, enough to fit queen matress on, fridge fits in drawer, massive storage space. ARB Aluminium roof rack Thumpa Inc LED lightbar with combo spot and spread lenses. 3 Lightforce XGTs, 2 converted to 55W HID HID headlights LED front indicators/parker lights Uniden UHF with scanner & GME 80 channel with GME antenna Boost, Exhaust Gas Temperature & Volt guages Cross Country Intercooler with draw through fan Steel Bullbar with Warn 9,000lb winch with Dyneema Rope & solenoid box securely mounted under bonnet. Fiberglass AM/FM radio antenna Cruise Control Second Glove box Waeco CF50DZ fridge and freezer Pioneer DVD/iPod/MP3/CD radio with Pioneer speakers, sub & amp
  20. Then finished the new drawer/storage thingo
  21. Then added the following - Volt, Boost & Pyro gauges - Dawes and Needle valves - Optima Aux and Century Starting batteries - ARB Compressor mounted under the passenger seat - ProComp alloys - DIY Sliders - DIY Rear bar - CAT Mudflaps - Tigerz11 12,000lb winch with rope with the control box mounted behind the grill but in front of the radiator support panel. Looks stealth! - HiLift Jack - Telescopic rear work light - Full length drawer and storage system, made heavy duty as the old stuff didn't last. Made of 20mmx20mm box with 15mm ply and 227kg runners. Much stronger, will be semi-impossible to break it now! - Carling (ARB style) switches for rear work light, compressor and manual override of the battery isolator. - Mounted a fire extinguisher in the rear - Fishing rod holder - Also added a Snorkel while I was at it - And replaced a heap of worn parts! Here are some pics! The drawers are not finished, still have to line the whole thing with carpet to get rid of the thudding sound that come with having wood instead of seats and carpet. The lid folds up so i can put the fridge in the drawer, the missus is a short ass and can't reach it on top and we sleep in the back so that is why I have done it this way. The only problem is now i have to put the fridge on the front seat while we are sleeping, which isn't a real biggy, still quicker and easier than setting up and pulling down a tent. There is now plenty of storage space!
  22. Started on my second glove box, still got a bit to do. I can't work out a nice looking way of putting a latch on or some way of holding the door closed. I put a glovebox light in because Mr Nissan doesn't think of the small things. __________________
  23. But didn't like the fridge slide so that got scrapped and stuck to the basics And added a bed, its big enough to fit our double self inflating mattress on with room. Its strong enough to hold the woman and me (not that we are big). The top folds in the middle with a piano hinge and just sits on top of the draws when not in use.
