Well mine is on the road again. Got the alignment and balance done today. Reached 140 on the way to work with no shakes or wobbles. So extremely happy my work was worth it..

Yeah I do spend a bit of time on the beach. Personally I think it was surface prep. I did think about ringing and discussing it with him but figured it would just go round in circles. To be honest I wouldn't be put off buying them, they are solid, welds seem good... Seem to reasonably thick steel. (I am not gonna cut through one to check ) but they are heavy. I would just paint them really well before you put them on. Other people seem happy with them.. So my sliders might be just a rare exception . Cheers

Well I went for a beach run with the misses and child and come across some mounds. I thought F it.. Let's flex..




This is a stock OME 2" lift kit with a 1" body lift and rear stabilizer factory disconnected..
It had a good inch left in the rear tube and wasn't on the bump stop yet..

Fitted dawes and needle valve today. Hopefully prolong the life a bit on the ZD

Finished and fitted the rear bar.. Thanks again for all the help Olly and Gissmo.

Well been a big day. Many many thanks to Gissmo for coming over and giving me a hand, really appreciated it mate.
Got the sony in and working right




Got the anderson plug in and wired through a seperated VSR to main battery and a new 7 pin plug


and also got the brake controller in for the new trailer.

haha - yeah, Rays technical stuff was awsome.

One thing I really didnt like in this place thou was general non Patrol Related stuff - It just gives people somthing to fight over (it seems to always end up that way) rather than talking about the common interest (patrols).

I would prefer topics stayed Patrol/Car/Camping/Technical or semi related topics.

Bring back Ray...

Well spent today in the shed.
Removed intercooler, heat sheild, welded in egt bung for my gauge, fitted new ASE intercooler, wired fan in to a switch on the dash, and hooked everything up, and all seems to be working. Bonus for me. lol

Now to go and clean up and pack away everything
