The trailer came with a single 100AH Remco AGM battery which was good for a few days powering the lights and fridge, but I can go for longer so I upgraded to dual Remco 100ah batteries, a Victon Battery Monitor, CTek Dual 250S charger and a Jaycar Pure Sine Wave Inverter - which unfortunatly never gets used.. I might give it the flick. I also have a 120w folding solar panel kit (ebay) and I can now run my CF40 fridge, all my lights, phone charges etc for almost indefinate periods of time - as long as I get mostly sunny days :-)

Ive doubled the number of cig lighter sockets at the rear of the trailer and added an anderson plug for the fridge. Now I can charge everyones phone, run the fridge and some lights all at the same time.

On the side of the front box I installed the Victron monitor and a solar panel input socket (Hella)

Today I upgraded IPBoard to the latest release 4.4. Enjoy

I discarded the original TI stainless barwork & bumper and found an alloy bar on Gumtree for $250.
Now to fit the alloy bar and adjust the fairlead.
I did the cutout for the fairlead with an air body saw fitted with a broken hacksaw blade.

.. and no, the rope doesn't hang there now. It was just for the pic

the interior is turning out way better than i expected

Finished all the interior tonight and very happy with it.


Now its time to get back into the body work. 

Bought this in September 2012. Finally got to use it Easter 2013. 
Still have a few thing to have added to it yet.
 
I was looking at one of their camper trailers and made an order for one, plus extra modifications. Saw this and told them to chuck the trailer I will take the van. Small price difference but worth the cost.
 
 
 

Decided to head out for a play today,
The recent rains have made the tracks that bit more challenging.

The first hill of the day saw me destroying a sway bar link. You will hear it go in the vid .



Then headed over to the quarry for a play

I use mine for a bit more light overhead as my draw system has the prep and a pull out table

And it aids the strip light.
But also throws a great light when reversing. Got the switch on the center console..

Saw this on my Facebook today.. Thought it was worth a laugh.

It works, I think however if the water is cold, running it around in circles in a big bucket to get it up to temp is the way to go. I havnt used it any other way (yet).. however im going camping at the start of June and it will be bloody cold, so I will report how it went when sucking water direct from the river.
 
I think i will take the car for a drive first for at least 30 min to get it up to temp.

Dont worry guys - This forum isnt going anywhere. It has multiple uses for me - One being I get to ask technical questions about my Patrol and actually get answers, another being its a good tax thing for me and third - If other patrol sites die or get 'less popular' then this place may take off. Its been quiet here - But I expected that to happen if the 'other' site recovered.. Who knows what will happen - It seems like its been bought and the new owners may make it an awsome place or they might f$%k it up.
