Jacket_1985 got a reaction from hungry in -Hello. . . is anyone in there?yeah, its not likely to be fixed imo. . . i spent half the day reading yesterday, hacking it and taking it off terry is easy'ish, but quite illegal. and i dont think anything has changed his mind about letting it go. so it wont happen. forum software is 3years old!
Lets pull together and make a go of it here fellas. ill put my name down as a stay, if the other forum goes down. . . . .

Jacket_1985 got a reaction from Oldmate in Who said dogs are dumb?my dog(
) comes everywhere with me. even if i go to Melbourne for a day shopping he comes. he comes with me to Sydney, and works every day that i do. as his environment is constantly changing he needs to learn new boundaries very quickly. downside is the poor coot thinks his name is 'back', haha. im working in an old folks home atm renovating bathrooms. he just hangs around, scabs food off the other tradies, and sits in a spot where i put him when i need him to stay. i took him to work 2nd day i had him.
he only ever gets a bit rebellious if he hasn't been exercised enough.

Jacket_1985 got a reaction from tailpipez in Jacket has bought another one.Bought some bits today , still getting ready for the build.
Iv decided to go with the ARB airlocker again , im not sure why, it was an honest 50/50 either way, but i had to get the build done at 2 shops if i went with Eaton. . . easy to just do one shop build because of the forum trip being so close. Sad excuse i know, and ill still try to do an Eaton one day soon.
So anyway, here's what i got sorted today.
Paid for Front ARB airlocker Here's whats in the box..
Paid for bearing/seal rebuild kit.
Paid for drop boxes.
Paid for diff brace/lamination kit.
Got king smoothie canister bolt-in kits.
Paid for 80 series bumpstops and mounts front and rear.
Found some radius arm bushes.
Paid for big ARB air compressor.

Jacket_1985 reacted to Ray! in Jacket has bought another one.Try the e-locker, at least then you'll know how well, or not, it works. Afterall, you're only going to sell the Patrol anyway, so it'll provide a good test bed for future.
Cheers
Ray

Jacket_1985 reacted to twisty in Privacy RulesI stopped identifying myself when receiving calls years ago. Rude b@stards! "hello", "Is Mr. twisty there?", "who's calling please", "i'm calling for Mr. twisty", "I know, who are you?", "I will identify myself to Mr twisty, is he there?", "you called a private number, who are you?", and so on. Entertainment for a short time only.
oh ... and I had one of those scam calls telling me they could fix my windowzz operating system. Now that was fun! Had them on the phone for half an hour pretending to do all they asked. Pretended something went wrong and had a "supervisor" call back to "fix" the "problem". Another 15 minutes of fun before they realised what I was doing. "click". ahh ... memories.
