Hi All Just experimenting with dual citizenship. the fact that here has a lot of members in common with Patrol4x4 will assure the success of this forum also. Aside from annoying Ray! with my sincere Leftward outlook, I genuinely love my Patrols, camping and 4wd'ing. My username comes from my previous vehicle which was built for harder offroading with 35" MT/R's, 6" total lift, twin lockers and 85% Mark's gears. I completed 3 rounds over two years in the Tough Tracks Challenge in SE Qld. My 2001 GU ZD30 is somewhat milder with only 2" lift, some NADS mods and 305 Bighorns, but I still enjoy a good day out. Jumped on from the titanic. I've had my 2000 GU II since May last year... Motor did the Grenade in August, $12,500 for full rebuild including Fuel Pump and Mike Vine Engine Saving. At least now I have a better engine than when it come out.

Looks Like I'm far from being the first to jump ship over to here.

How's it going guys Decided to come across from the other forum just I case things continue to go pear shaped. I am from the eastern suburbs and have a 08 GU wagon. Am currently waiting on delivery of the new motor so the V8 conversion can begin. Have had the pleasure of 4wding in most of the iconic locations around Australia. Hi guys and gals, I am Troll98 on the Patrol4x4.com but I am in the process of selling my second GU 1998 model to go back to 1988 GQ, it's a TB42 but on the up side it is a Turbo water2air intercooled SWB I have just re-wired all of the engine bay (what a mess it was) but now neat and tidy. I have also upgraded the headlights to HID's it has 4 HID spotlights and 2 LED fog/day running lights and a LED lightbar across the roof. Toughdog 3" suspension and Autronic computer, Icom440 pro UHF. I have pulled out the interior and Dynamatt throughout the entire car with E.R.P.S. underneath the Dynamatt (Electronic Rust Prevention System) and a Tigerz11 12000lb remote controlled w…
