Just found this site, so joined up. On a few other sites under the same name. I drive a 96 gq st rd28 turbo lwb wagon patrol. 2" lift. 31's. winch. Arb winch bar. Boost and fuel wound up. Turns 35's with ease, but I sold those for 37's soon to come, see how the little 2.8 goes turning those Well, that's the intro done and dusted. Matt.

New to the forum thought I better say Gday. I have not purchased my Patrol yet but plan to buy a 2006 -2008 3L. I have been a long time Nissan fan and currently have a Nissan Stagea RS4 S . Due to having 2 kids and also soon becoming a foster parent my family requires a larger car ,so Stagea will be replaced with Patrol. Shooting and reloading are my main hobbies but also enjoy my fish tank, taking the tinny out for a fish and putting around on the ride on mower while having a can or two. Im sure once I finaly have my patrol I will enjoy shooting even more as I will have access to many more places on the farm. You wont be seeing me posting for a while as…

Hi all my names Mick and I've got a GU series 1 with a few bits and pieces. I'm on a few 4wd forums and I've had Patrols since I got my licence. I'm a spray painter by trade but got sick of working on cars all day everyday. Now I build horse floats these days so the involves a bit of everything, fabrication, electrical, carpentry and painting so I don't get bored anymore. I've also just started up my own business doing HID projector conversion kits and installations as there doesn't seem to be many people doing it in Australia. Cheers Mick.

Hi. I'm from WA and own a '89 DX TD42 Patrol. It has alot of mods, including GU diffs out of believe it or not a blown ZD30, full 4" lift, barwork, garret bush bearing turbo from the early 90s, and it's locked to get me further into trouble and then back out with the help of the 35s. It has done the gibb river road, crossed the nullah about 16 times, dragged a 3t 20ft van around OZ a couple times, and been rolled on her side amongst other travels within her 610,000kms. The car has been in the family since 30,000kms. My interests are finding surf/fishing spots, four wheel driving on my way there and setting up camp and being self sufficient once there. Nothing …

Hi guys. Kallen's the name. If you couldn't guess the current ride is a 91 gq patrol LWB. This car is a family gem pushing 1/2 a million K's. My parents bought it new in early 92 (I was 5..) and it's seen me and both younger brothers and sister threw our licenses.. I've recently acquired it as the parents have gone to the dark side (Prado).. Living on the farm for most my life the patrol wound up K's quick as it was a 80k round trip just to get to town.. I enjoy off roading and all though the old girl is getting slower it keeps up with some earlier turbo models. Now with my young family started I hope the old faithfully gq can give us many good memories.. So f…

Hi Guys, I'm from QLD, I am a member of a few other forums and had a looksey over here and liked what I saw. I have a GU Wagon 2000 white, have just got it back on the road after a long list of issues have nearly been soughted. It has a number of modifications that I've done since I bought it in March 2005. Anyway that's enough from me for now, I will contribute to the forum from time to time to help other members out with information. cheers David

Hi guys. Can't believe i'm doing this...me ole mate Glort is gonna have a field day with this lol. Most of you will know my username, i'm a loyalist from the other forum but there seems to be an issue with posting and logging on etc....funningly enough Outers is down as well. Slim must know people in very high places . I'm in Christchurch NZ, chippy by trade but currently working in the red zone demolishing nearly every building still standing. Got a 1991 GQ Safari TD42, might catch up in the threads if Oldmav loses the battle to pull a rabbit out of a hat. Being an optimist...i'm positive of course.
