Why from the bottom of the rim? Wouldnt the size of the rim make a difference in this case?

I just got a quote for an OME 2" lift - ~$1750.00 - includes the springs, shocks, caster correction stuff and fitting including alignment etc. Has anyone got a 2" lift like this and what do you think? Also, can someone with a stock patrol measure from hub center to guard front and rear and post the results?
  3. Updated the board to I.P Board 3.3.1 today and also updated the tapatalk integration code - Now supports tapatalk 2 which should be available on android and iphone now.
  4. I went away this weekend and the new alternator is certainly performing way better than the old.. I was on the road for about 2.5 hours and my D250S Dual ctek in the camper trailer put over 50ah into my battery bank in the camper trailer.. Very happy.
  5. New alternator fitted - things are much better now. Old alternator had stuffed rectifier and the clutch was not right on it either.
  6. Yeah, the current logo was a result of people suggesting that the first two logos on the first post might offend Nissan due to the Nissan Logo.. So we changed it to the current design - The patrol picture.
  7. We have now fixed the 'stuck on mobile' tempalte issue - You should be able to switch back to the full template now :-)

Their issue has nothing to do with the hosting company. Changing hosting company won't fix their issues. Every site has an owner - with financial interests (me included). I can understand why the owner of patrol4x4.com doesn't want to give it away, he would be crazy. On the same token he needs to fix the issues or the user base will look elsewhere. If he doesn't have the skills to fix it not find someone who he trusts that can, then he's in trouble.
  9. Ive just been reading the IP Board forums and it seems there is a known bug with the latest version of IPBoard that causes this. Im waiting for a fix. (even im now writing this on the mobile template!)
  10. Went to battery world to get a new starter battery today but before try sold it to me they did a test on my car and the result was 'excessive ripple' - from the alternator rectifier. So I've got the car booked in for tomorrow for either a new rectifier or whole new alternator.
  11. Hi Enemy This forum uses a lot of modern web technology - Make sure you have Internet Explorer 8 or above or FireFox 11. (or if your on a Max, the latest Safari or FireFox) To change your password, click your username in the very top right corner and click MY SETTINGS.

haha - Wow - Ive never noticed that before. That photo was taken by the previous owner just before I purchased it... There certainly is NO plasma or TV of any kind.. Going camping is my way of getting away from screens!
  13. Bummer - tapatalk looks like the best option then for android users.
  14. Do you have an option for the mobile template somewhere towards the bottom?
  15. Bugger, I should have kept the plastic one :-(
  16. It was black plastic.. Havnt been under to take a look thou.
  17. Month or so ago on a boys camping trip I went through some muddy ruts and they were a little deep for my patrol and it ended up resting on the underbody and not the tyre's. In the process of getting it out the plastic bash plate got sacrificed so I think I should replace it with something strong. Anyone have some recommendations ?
  18. I'll clean them up if they start posting crap. :-)
  19. I just sent an email to all our (millions?) of members to remind them about this place :-P
  20. Yeah, it was very strange that the forum code was not updated. Well I hope they all end up here :-)
  21. Now that patrol4x4 is infected again maybe things will start to happen over here?
  22. Yeah, this is what I thought also. I wasnt sure if the dud battery was bringing it down or if the alternator was a bit dud to. Does anyone know what the idle voltage should be?
  23. The trailer came with a single 100AH Remco AGM battery which was good for a few days powering the lights and fridge, but I can go for longer so I upgraded to dual Remco 100ah batteries, a Victon Battery Monitor, CTek Dual 250S charger and a Jaycar Pure Sine Wave Inverter - which unfortunatly never gets used.. I might give it the flick. I also have a 120w folding solar panel kit (ebay) and I can now run my CF40 fridge, all my lights, phone charges etc for almost indefinate periods of time - as long as I get mostly sunny days :-) Ive doubled the number of cig lighter sockets at the rear of the trailer and added an anderson plug for the fridge. Now I can charge everyones phone, run the fridge and some lights all at the same time. On the side of the front box I installed the Victron monitor and a solar panel input socket (Hella)
