hey I lost tacho ac coldness and glow other day driving to work have checked wires and pretty sure all fuses where good anyone had this happen and if so what was the problem thanks.

I have no engine light no globe Light motor turns over does not start not getting fuel to injectors have primed fuel system fuel coming out of return line I am thinking fuel pump not getting signal what has this got to do with no engine light at all so I can’t get any codes up has anybody got any ideas 🙏

Good morning TLDR; Wiring schematic and stock cable locations for the wire that feeds the water temp gauge I've got an 08 patrol which was once a CRD 3.0 - which has been swapped out for an L98 (6.0L gen-iv LS). However the guy who merged the harness together for me made a mistake and my instrument cluster shows the water temp just under 1/3rd all the time. Its really annoying, I have to pull half the wiring harness out to fix an 02 sensor so i want to fix the water temp while im at it. Does anyone have the schematics and general location of the water temp gauge on the CRD when its stock, i have a water temp sender in the side of the block as it is already

Hi I have a Nissan Navara ute with a z30 engine and just replaced the head gasket on whilst reassembling found this red wire coming from injector pump is broken this is the only wire from the pump what is its purpose there dose not seem to be a corresponding wire on the harness can some one help please.

Wondering if anyone can advise. Purchased a Patrol GU 2006 3L diesel about a month ago. It only had the one key so went to Rieds repair and keys on Perth. They cut us two flip keys. The immobiliser part works but can't program the central locking system. They tried to programme them but were unable to get the car to go into programme mode. Any suggestions? They suggested replacing the drivers door switch but no joy with swapping it. Tried a number of variations from their site to others on forums and Google.

where can i get a 1985 mk wiring harness

G'Day everyone, I was wondering if anyone has experienced the problem that plagues my GQ.at times. It blows the instrument cluster fuse and this renders all of the gauges,including the speedo useless.The tacho spins wildly and all other gauges cease to operate at all.The charge light stays illuminated when the fuse blows.There is no pattern to it.The fuse may blow 3 or 4 times a day,then it may go for weeks before it blows again.I have had the circuits tested and have been told they cannot find fault with any of the gauge circuits at all.I have reverted to having a couple of packs of 10 amp fuses in the console and just change the fuse when it blows.Any advice would …

Hey guys greetings. New member. I'm hoping somebody on here could help me. I have a 2001 gu 2. With stock head unit. I hooked up my egt gauge and was using a test light to make sure I had power going to the gauge. As I was pulling away I hit positive and negative on the gauge. The gauge still works fine. Although my radio is not working now. There is no power coming from that wire so I switched to a different wire for the gauge. But now my radio screen does not come on and play radio. The button lights Still work and ejects cds. But no playing. I have checked every fuse they all have power inside and out of the car. Both sides of the fuse socket. And pulled the cabin fus…

My next job for the new patrol is installing x2 reversing lights ( camping lights) in the rear running threw a relay and switch in cab. The patrol has a few blank switch caps installed in the front were I can mount a switch, is there a switch which fits these holes ? I would like to put a rocket switch in with led light in it but cant find one that will fit. Do you just have to cut more out or can you get adaptors? Cheers paul

Hi guys I just notice the new patrol we got has one reversing light (passenger) side works. I checked the drive side light and there is nothing, no bulb or wiring go the light housing WTF is this normal and is it hard to wire up. Ive never had a new car with one reversing light. Ok for get this post, I just found out its a ADR think in Australia were the light on the drivers side is illegal which is a load of crap to me as it would help the driver when reversing. Some NOOB made a rule which does no make sense. Looks light a light pole going in threw a switch for when we want to revers in dark spots. paul

ok ill keep this a brief as i can whilst out traveling the engine light came on. thought nothing of it tbh as it used to flicker on ruff terrain. anyway, around that time i started to lose power, id be driving say 100kph and then it would slow down to about 80kph, it felt like the turbo wasn't working, i rev two or 3 times and then would kick back in. i thought that maybe the i/c had cracked or similar (it does have some oil around two corners, and i noticed some oil leakage down the left side. not much) i took the i/c off gave it a clean and then see how it went, it run fine for a fair few k's then the same issue, this was a reoccurring event. i then disconnected t…

Hi Guys 11/2003 4.2 Ti Glow plug lamp on all the time ,glow plugs time out as per normal but warning lamp on all the time Wiring diagram would be most helpful

Has anyone modified the automatic aerial on their patrols so it can be retracted when off road? My Ti aerial has 2 positions: fully extended or half-mast. Other than turning off the stereo completely, I cant see a way to fully retract the aerial. Was hoping the wiring could be modified so the half-mast position can become a fully retracted position.

Recently I finally finished glow plugs timer Kemo M113A from Jaycar fitment however decided to use my twist on the design from a member @P4x4 forum. I fully recommend doing this mod especially on ZD30 as the amount of time Mr Nissan keeps the glow plugs on borders/is ridiculous/insane. The subsequent damage to glow plugs, engine head etc has been well documented. Its relatively easy to do hardest part is to find courage to intercept ECU's the control wire/s. I have added my own twist by using built in dash glow indicator to let me now. Its not strictly necessary as Kemo timer has its own built in LEDs. hello i recently bought a 1999 2.8TD manual GR, did only about 100 miles on it. Obviously the car has minor issues. the first one is that cig lighter is not working (power socket in the trunk also does not work). If i read the electric schema correctly the cig lihgter has a fuse with number 13 that is fine. The power socket has two fuses numbers 9 and 46. 46 is dead and i have already ordered it. But again if i understand things correctly 46 has nothing to do with the cig lighter. so what are the next steps to trouble shoot the issue? The second issue i feel a bit stupid about: how do i eject the cd changer magazine? thanks in advance

Hi all, Anyone got Bogaard 925/GU unit fitted to their Patrol? Any chance you may have a wiring diagram/instructions or perhaps could take a photo of electrical connections especially the "plug n play" to existing Nissan harness. I have a generic(universal) 925/ST-5 unit and it would greatly assist me in the installation especially because I have to cut wires. Cheers

Hello, Anyone proficient in soldering electronic components like resistors, diodes etc on to PCBs. I found some useful kits in Jaycar shop I wanna use in Patrol, trouble is they all come unassembled and my soldering duties/skills were/are mostly automotive cables and terminals. Any pitfalls or what to watch out for? Perhaps extra pieces in the toolkit required not to stuff up or make the job easier/quicker. Cheers
