Bogmeister got a reaction from BigGQWesty in Bogmeisters new TrollNah, I will get around to it tho. The utes going great, I just kicked over 200k (i have done 100k in 12 months)
In that 12 months the Ebay stereo died, they say they will give me a refund but I am still waiting and the Speedy exhaust brackets broke. I have got rid of the split rims and am in the process of changing all my tyres over to Geolandars.
Over all I am very happy with it. I average aroud 13lph km and it weighs 3200kg loaded with all my work gear

Bogmeister reacted to BigGQWesty in What did you do to your GQ today!Today was a productive day..
Installed some sound deadener (poly quilt filling) in the rear doors.. This enhances the bass to nearly sub quality, and eliminates the sound heard outside..
Then ran my wire to the rear for my work light, and installed a fuse box for the fridge, spotties and work light..
Nice and clean now
Just a single positive wire to the fuse box, which runs a buzz bar threw the middle and the out either side..
Very neat and good for 50A continuous..

Bogmeister reacted to bigrig77 in I haven't gone anywhere...I really don't get what the big deal is, if u don't like a post or it's contents just don't comment on it , it's that simple! Concentrate on the positive posts people make and ignore the bad , the rest will sort itself out. ( common sense isn't so common )

Bogmeister got a reaction from svman in Water injection.Devils own water injection calculator recommends 3.3GPH nozzle, that sounds a bit large to me. But again, I am only guessing.
Sometimes a pilot car will spend an hour or two idling, a few hours at 80kmh or a few hours sitting on 120 kmh. It all depends on the load, driver, terrain, brake downs, traffic etc.

Bogmeister got a reaction from Glort in A healthy Discovery.Congrats Glort. I am happy for you and also relieved. I saw the title and thought you had wasted your $$$ on a poxy bloody Land Rover.
I did martial arts for many years and understand what you mean about some of the mass builders having no stamina.......Sometimes to a sad level.
That level of "fitness" is , to me, like a Pro-Stock drag car. Awesome for 400m, but then its spent.
The other side of the coin is a person like me that thought that I was invincible but now suffers the effects of bad training techniques (mainly over-training).
It sounds like you have found the perfect midway point. Bugger all exercise, yard work and a bit of relaxation. An old mate of mine likes to take his grand kids for a walk, they walk for miles. He has built up over a few years and now has enough grand kids, that when he wears one out, he walks it home and gets another. Last I heard, he was up to about 15km per day.
Got some grand kids?

Bogmeister got a reaction from BigGQWesty in Cyclists...I finally hit one!WOOO HOOO. Lets start a club. You can be number 2, cos I hit one in about 1992. I had a choice of hitting a Mack tipper or a pushbike. Self preservation took over lol.
The more we hit, the less will be on the road.......Call it culling of the stupid
