  1. Sorry, Didn't get to it today. I'll post some up tomorrow. Be warned, it ain't Pretty! I did put 2 extra drums on the stack which has made a big difference. I reckoned I gained about 20-30o on the output air temp burning at the same rate. I reckon the way to put some efficiency in this thing would be to use something like an exhaust collector with a 4" pipe going into 4x 2" pipes. You would spread these out slightly so there was plenty of room for air circulation and better surface area. You would also slow the gas flow from the burner giving more time for the heat to be transferred. That would cost a lot more of course that the bit of pipe surrounded by tins though.
  2. Lying in bed last night I got a brainwave. It happens every 10-20 years. I built a an oil burner a while back that works on draught alone. Burns pretty clean and puts out awesome heat though most of it of course is in the flue gasses rather than radiant. The thing is an old casserole type pot I cut a large hole in the top and sat an old fire extinguisher on that I cut the top and bottom out of and put a load of holes in the sides. On top of that I put a length of 4" Pipe. Around the edges of the lid of the pot I put 4 1" holes. The fire burns in the pot and gets the primary air through the 1" holes then goes into the secondary chamber where the air mixes pulled in by the draft of the chimney. It could use more holes in the Secondary chamber to burn perfectly clean but that would also dilute the flue gas temp and rich is hot... Just like a Diesel engine! So what I did today is get some 20L oil tins from a load I picked up on the weekend and fitted the 4" pipe right through the middle. With all the delicate skill and craftsmanship an unskilled person can muster with a wood chisel, a hammer and a pair of pliers, I cut a nice snug fitting hole to the top and bottom drums and the ends out of the middle one. On the bottom burner I fitted a squirrel cage Blower and on the top, I impressed myself by cutting a hole in a star design with the metal sections coming out so I had somewhere to tape the duct on. The blower wasn't quite strong enough to force the air through so I got an 8" in-line ventilator fan and put that on to act as a booster and put some more duct on that to take it inside through the cat flap. The blower merely blows air on the flue pipe which normally glows red for about the first 2 feet and the resulting warm air is blown in the house. The setup looks as redneck as Imaginable but stuff me if it's not about 30o in here and I have the burner running at about 1/3 power. It's using about 2L of oil an hour which is high because it's real inefficient atm but I can fix that. I'll add another 2-3 tins tomorrow on the flue pipe which is still uncovered and bloody hot. I think this will allow the burner to be throttled back some more and the same or better heat generated. 1L/ hr of oil generates about 30Kw so even with poor efficiency, that should keep the place nice and cosy. I have to say I'm a bit amazed at how well this works. Sure it's about 20% efficient ( 80% INefficient) ATM but it's a stack of oil drums with a stove pipe in the middle and a fan blowing air on it. The surface area to the cold outside air is far greater than the area exposed on the hot side. I have some insulation that will fix that. The extra drums will help as well. I'll take some pics tomorrow for a laugh and post them up. The thing is, this Pile of scrap could run on any waste oil you can get your hands on.... engine oil, tranny oil, Veg, hydraulic or even animal fat. All you would have to do is start the thing with some liquid oil, sit your drum of fat close by and it would melt the stuff as it burnt. The blowers I am using are about 150W and the amount of heat I could generate with this thing would melt the snow off the roof of a place if required. What it has opened my eyes to is how efficient something like this could be if a Dollar was actually spent on it. This thing will last me this winter then when I'm in new digs next winter I'll do something up properly. Perhaps the biggest achievement with this thing is I'm still in the house. The mrs came home and saw this " construction" sitting on her beloved back Verandah and wanted to know why the hell I had brought my chit onto her veranda and it better not be there tomorrow. She seems very happy to have it there right now and be sitting round watching TV in a T shirt instead of a jumper. We have air but I think shes enjoying having this thing turned right up without having to worry about what it's doing to the power bill. So far the only comment is can I put a duct in the wall so the animals can get in and out the cat flap? WINNER! Quite satisfying
  3. Sorry Admin but I think you are putting the blame in the wrong place. You yourself said you didn't like looking through a string of news items in the new content. ( or words to that effect). I never wanted Ray to go but his postings to me at least were becoming increasingly aggro and commensurately boring. If I want to read the news, I'll go to a news site. It seems others here felt the same way. I don't mind discussing relevant issues but 4-5 a day is a bit much for me. Ray has brought into a lot bigger arguments and bunfights than anything that was said here and looks like he is continuing to do so. As such I don't see he was in anyway treated unfairly or unduly harshly. Ray was the one that wanted to make an issue of should he stay or go and it seems he wasn't happy with the result of the feedback he himself invited. You can't put blame on other people for that. It was also clear ( and by his own admission) that he was trying to be controversial and by virtue incite argument. He got that and did not appear to take other's POV that were in contrast to his own very well. I have to say I do think his behaviour is rather childish in this matter though. No one is indispensable and while his knowledge may be missed, I'm afraid the majority of his cut and paste posts won't. They also added little to the value of the forum IMHO unlike as I pointed out his own info which was totally different. I also got the impression he may have been a bit bored, frustrated, had too much time on his hands or suffering cabin fever and looking to vent. He went back to the cesspit, perhaps he will also forgive and feel better and come back here to share his valuable and worthwhile knowledge.
  4. Are there any drums out the back of the places you can access? They are usually 44's with removable lids although they are sometimes tanks. I'd be looking for those and if you can find some where the places use oil and not Fat, Get a pump and off you go.
  5. Blockages. If it was OK before and just ran out of fuel, I don't see any reason it shouldn't be fine now. -IF- you can't prime it up ( and it will take some pumping!) then pull the panel up at the back to get to the tank and pull out the pickup and have a look. the holes in it are a bit on the small side and can easy get blocked. I slightly enlarged mine but the bigger you make them the more fuel will likley be left in the tank when it gets real low. If you have a compressor then I'd also blow the fuel lines out while you have either end Disconnected. Don't be surprised to see a heap of black crap come out but don't be surprised if it dosen't either. If you pump for a while and don't feel any resistance then I would prefill the filter and put it on as advised. One of the upsides of having an electric pump is it does the hard work for you. So, put all the plugs in the filter, take the fuel hose f at the IP, pump away 10 min and see how you go. The filter is Higher than the tank so the fuel drains back readily and has to be sucked up to get it to the filter/ IP.
  6. Yeah I know Bog. I wasn't aiming my vent at you so much as the frequent mentality of people over those lights. I should have clarified that better. My apologies if it came across wrong. I can see the advantages of them but I have been pissed off with them so much more. The ones you linked to do seem to go to some pains to prevent the problems which is good. I still reckon a good pair of Hella's with H3's are good enough for me though.
  7. Perhaps it's not HID"s I'm against but rather these kits that don't do the job properly. I'm getting sick to death of being blinded by these things and someone is going to do it at the wrong time and the end result will not be pretty. I have had idiots behind me a couple of times in the last few weeks with these things blazing into the back window and blinding me. I pulled over and let them past then hit them with high beam and the output from a couple of 20+yo rectangular Hella's with the plain old 100W H3 bulbs that people espouse aren't good enough any more. There was no mistaking how effective they still are judging by the drivers reaction. The other one was some young Jerkoff in some POS worth $500 with a $5000 stereo That came blazing up behind me then was obviously sitting at the correct distance for max blinding effect. People also lament the brakes on Patrols as being ineffective but they seem plenty effective to me and I'll bet the aresewipe behind me that night thought so too. I -may- have felt a very slight bump and there was some white paint specs on the towbar I noticed the next morning. What really pi$$ me off though was when I was out with the young fella for driving practice and this turd came along the road towards us blinding us both. The young fella was hard pushed to see a damn thing and did well just to keep the car threaded between the parked cars and the road ornaments. IT clearly threw him and he was asking what he should do in those situations. I refrained from my honest thoughts of telling him to turn around and mow them off the road before they caused some innocent person to come to grief. Seriously, I really can't see the need for these kit things. I appreciate with some of the young and stupid crowd they are part of the substitution for a lack of penile growth which also goes in hand with a lack of brain function, but for others.....??? The Lights on my Gq which I put new standard inserts and the regular H4 globes in when I got it to pass rego are plenty bright enough and throw on a couple of decent driving lights and I fail to see why people need any more. If you are that blind you shouldn't be driving, seriously. And before we hear the typical " You should try Driving in the country" I do. In places that don't have a street light in sight for miles in any direction in the distance. The H4's are fine on their own, with the spotties you can see further than you need to and well off to the sides as well. And I have driven the Old mans Forrester that has factory HID's on the same roads. Yes, they are nice but I also notice they can be a bit too reflective off road signs for my liking depending on the undulations of the road and the angle the light hits them. And that's something else I don't get with the fanatics who try to justify having 10,000W of HID light out of the headlights and 8 Spotties. When you are using all this light trying to Illuminate the dark side of the moon, Your eyes will adjust and the pupil of your eye will stop down. When another vehicle comes along and you ( hopefully) go back to low beam, it will take minutes for your eyes to adjust and in the mean time you'll be flying relatively blind, completely negating any safety benefit in having the flame throwers in the first place! It's just like being outside on a bright sunny day and walking into the house that has a couple of the blinds pulled down. You can't see crap. In the case of the lights, You will think you are seeing OK but anything not in the beam will be totally black to you. My eyes are not what they used to be, That I can tell, but I can still see fine where I am going with H4's and If I can't, I'll slow down or hand in my licence. Respectfully I'd say if you think you need these things, consider the safety aspect all round and do them right with the proper reflectors rather than patch jobs. You are probably in more danger from having someone blinded tag you than leaving the std lights.
  8. I'm sure he will be back. He forgave them on the dark side and I'm sure he will forgive those whom have trespassed against him here. He has a lot to offer and a lot of knowledge of his own which is helpful and interesting.
  9. I very much doubt if Hardly Reasonable's business is effected 1% by online. they are 2 totally different markets. One is for people who are not price conscious and don't do their homework, want it now and I'd say often didn't know what they wanted. On top of this, if you think about what hardly sells, it would only be a small percentage of their stock lines anyway. I don't think there would be too many people buying a Lounge suite, a Dishwasher or even a laptop from an OS supplier. It would really apply mainly to small electronics which is one department of their store and only a small component of what they have anyway. OTOH, I seen online as more for the price savy whom have done their homework and know exactly what they want and are prepared to wait whatever time is required for the item to arrive. More I think about it the more I reckon it was just some some media beat up to try and get some free public awareness going. Pity it actually bit him in the arse more than it did him any good.
  10. I have looked into the actual reports and reccomendations on this beyond the media Hype. I can't see it happening for a very long time if ever. The report done by I forget who now reccomended it be looked at but the Tax department have also looked at it and don't want to know. I forget all the numbers now but the amount of stuff coming in is huge and the logistics of going through all the parcels, working out the tax, sending or making bills/ invoices etc just isn't worth their time by a country mile. They would need a lot of staff and with a lot of staff they would need a lot of space. They would need a lot of equipment such as computers for a start and they would have to put in place a website or something to pay the tax. I would also think the goods would have to be warehoused till the tax was paid and the items would have to be able to be catalogued and retrieved when required. They would have to be transported or couriers and Post services dealt with. That's a lot of trouble and expense to collect $2-3 for a CD, flash card, torch or other small item. Yeah they might make something back on a camera or a play station but as it stands the most they could get is $99 for an item and I'm guessing the majority of stuff might be under $100 value so $10 for the tax department. People like the media and Gerbil Hardly are making a lot of fuss but I would reckon the tax department just wouldn't want to know at all and probably wishing everyone would shut up about it. If it was viable for them you can bet they would have been on to that long before a lot of other things were put into place and a lot more unpopular. Much better money to be made in putting someone on catching tax cheats that they could be getting tens to Hundreds of thousands for on one case with out all the overhead and complication they would face with the OS imports. I don't reckon they will change the $1000 threshold unless they raise it. They would have done their numbers to see what was worthwhile for them when they set the limit in the first place. As the amount of OS goods increases they would need to spend more to police them and the cost of that certainly won't get less, it will just go up . Based on that I reckon it's more likely the limit will go up to $1500 rather than own to $100 or anything else.
  11. I have had a similar Problem Tonka. I think the problem is more with air in the filter/ Lines/ IP. First I would Undo the hose where it connects to the Injector pump and using the primer pump on the top of the filter, pump the fuel through till it runs out the end of the line. You can reconnect to the IP and prime some more and try and start it. May work, may not. If not, undo the banjo bolt for the return fuel loose enough so any air can get out and pump some more and try a re start. Lately when I have changed a filter I get air trapped in the IP that doesn't seem to purge like it did. I'm wondering If I have a blocked return line. Must remember to look at it. Anyway, once you get it started re tighten the return bolt and you are good to go although don't be surprised if it takes a few Km before the stumbles and full power come back. I think it takes a bit to get all the air out the IP.
  12. I ( presently) live on a main road. The amount of dust I get out of computers is unreal and it dosen't take long to build up. The machine i'm writing on / testing I have just managed to resurect. Blew the dust out of the thing then it refues to work despite numerous hdd changes and ram. Still booting a bit funny but here's hoping. Had a problem with my audiophile quality surround sound a while back. Thought I'd take the cover off fo a look see and found the heat sinks were completely covered smooth with dust and cat hair. they do like to sleep on the thing becuse it's warm... too bloody warm at times. Blew clouds of dust and fur out of it and the thing works well now. I made a plate to go over the top where the vents are and glued a length of 4" PVC on it to act as a chimminey with the warm air and draw in more cool air from the bottom and across the heat sinks. It's helped a lot because it's definately running cooler now. And The Cats can't sleep on it.
  13. I'd vent that meth tank clear of the vehicle as possible. Meth will boil out at 65 and on a nice hot day sitting next to the exhaust, I think it would get there pretty easy especially after a nice long heat soak. Even at 50 it will give off plenty of fumes and you sure as hell don't want them coming back in the cab or anywhere in the engine bay they could ignite. Beautiful fabrication on the tank and manifold. Wish I had those sort of skills and ability.
  14. What I should have said but didn't put into words as well. Your stuff on GPS and tablets was very helpful to me because it explained it the way talking to someone would. It's hard to understand a lot of this stuff and know what it's about without talking to someone who already has a handle on it. That's what I meant by your own thoughts and original material. It's good but no so much when it's arguing about an OS or politics or gubbermint policy ETC that people are never all going to have the same POV with. I understand that you are not scared of controversy but it's not what everyone wants every time, even rough nuts like me. Your own material is much better than the Journo's and what people want more of, not the rehashed news people can get elsewhere. Don't get me wrong, that's OK on the bigger issues and headlines but 3-4 times a day on minor things is a bit much for me. I also understand you are trying to keep things going and that there is only so much you can come up with of your own info but if you do run out, It might be better to say nothing rather than something for the sake of it. You also have a valid point in that input from others would be good too. Just don't go killing the topic before it starts like you did with your steampunk Thread by setting high standards that just put everyone else's efforts to utter shame!
  15. I'd be looking at variations of something like this, probably with the camera attached. Would be great for doing golf days and Charity balls and corporates.
  16. That is a great suggestion I'll keep in mind for something else I'm looking at. The all in one won't work for what I have in mind as I'm looking for something ultra portable but it's perfect for something else. I was thinking of a laptop but I remember the software I want to run is touch screen compatible so that would be great. I have a lot of Dells Too. I Have forgiven them for an incident years ago. I bought a used laptop out of the trading post ( tells you how long ago it must have been) From a guy literally up the road from me that turned out to be stolen. When I tried ordering new ram for it, Dell informed the cops and they turned up at my door. I still had the ad from the paper and a receipt and all the details but the chit the cops put me through knowing I didn't knock it off but wanting to collar the Guy was BullChit. This cop had a technique of ringing you with a story about a worst case scenario that might happen then ring you back 10-15 min later all apologetic that it would happen. After a few times it got old and Fking annoying. They admitted straight up they knew I hadn't stolen the thing ( came from a break and enter at a ritzy North shore Suburb) and that what I had done such as write the serial number on the outside of the thing was not what someone who had knocked the thing off would do. Didn't stop them treating me like the crim and wasting days of my time. They wanted me to go to court to testify against the guy but failed to serve me a summons so I didn't go. I'd spent hours and hours in the cop shop and going for rides in Police cars to point things out for them so I had enough and didn't go. I knew they had found a heap of other people to testify so I made myself busy that day. The tosser cop then rang me to say " There may be a warrant issued for my arrest for failing to appear in court." I lost it with the cop and ripped him 2 new ones. I dared him to arrest me for failing to appear and promised I'd make it my lifes work to show how I as the victim had been treated and all the bullschit I'd been put through. I told him his bad news antics were a crock of shit and it was all about him getting the glory of nailing the guys but he was doing Jack for me in getting my gear or money back so stuff him. They confiscated the laptop when they first arrived and whenever I asked about getting it back or compensation, that got blown off with some ever changing chit about evidence and then having to do that through civil means. Yeah, help you guys out but Fk me. Anyway, after I gave it to the short arsed moron cop who's gun was 10 times bigger than his old fella, I never heard another thing about it. I was damn pissed off at Dell though for dobbing me in with info I gave them in good faith and causing me all the hassle and I'd never help the cops with anything again. I know bloody well why people never see or hear anything now and I never will again either. I probably have about 20 dell machines and 10-15 HP's and they have all been good. Some I had in my event trailer that fell off shelves 5ft up and smashed the casing to bits but still worked fine. Pretty impressed with that especially as I discovered it in the middle of no where right before setting up for a big 3 day event. That said, I have a server and a workstation that refuse to load and setup and load an OS atm. I have put in new Hdd's and played with the ram and everything else I can think of on both of them but they just won't play ball. Pitty because they were both great machines and I used them a lot. I think the windoze Tablet may be best for me and I'll check out some of those all in ones as well. They would be perfect for something else I'm setting up.
  17. Hmmm! Excellent Point! That could explain a lot. Heard about that but never thought of it. It's highly significant though. I'll keep an eye on dates where I can on any info I see. Thanks for that, not being a facewaste user as such that would have never occoured to me and i'd probably have been pi$$ed off because I couldn't make it work or follow the method they were describing. Well largely the reason I'm asking here is because Photography forums in general are completely bloody useless. If you want the opinion of a lot of tossers nitpicking every detail of a pretty picture you put up so they can show how much they know about photography, Then Photo forums are great. If you want to know ANYTHING about the photo business, then with the exception of a few guys, you are going to draw a blank or get a lot of thoughts from people that haven't got the first clue. I'm always looking for a business based photo site but I can't find any. Seems real hard to find more than a few knowledgeable people out there that are into the game for money and not having people kiss their butt for putting up pictures for people to comment on. I doubt anyone would have tweaked to the changes you pointed out.
  18. I very much doubt that as the cause. I pour water down my intake and it's easy to see the stream is broken up and torn apart in the manifold due to the air stream and what must be a partial vacuum in that area. There is no way you are going to cause stumbles even if you squirt the water into the manifold in a jet at that rate with that mix..
  19. Ray, I'm afraid to say that I do agree in principle with Rumcajs. I'm not the 3rd vote to say piss off, I don't think that would benefit anyone however, I will vote your constant news snippets and comments are getting over the top and seem to be increasing in volume and frequency. I'm more interested in your own ORIGINAL views and thoughts than having to follow a link to a news article to see what the hell you are talking about in the first place. I don't mind that it is not Patrol related but I do think that it's getting a bit too much and boring. it also APPEARS that you are trying to up the ante and cause more controversy than is needed or I personally want to hear. I don't want you to piss off, I don't think you are a troll. I do think it's a bit lame to try and justify yourself now after the challenge you have put up. Clearly you are no idiot so I would suggest that you can put better, more interesting and helpful things forward. I think it would be best if you stayed here, but just layed off the 3-4 news snippets a day and what I do see as trying to push your POV a bit too hard. You do appear to be getting a bit too uptight ( although I'm sure you will say you are not) but if that's how you come across and people are misconstruing you etc as been brought up of late, then the reality is the problem DOES lie with you in the way you are coming across. I would suggest you would also do well to take critisisims on board and nnot try and justify yourself every time. People really are trying to point things ut and give you a hint rather than attack as you always seem to take it. I am not shy or retiring either. I reek of controversy in everything I do and tend to relish confrontation rather than avoid it. That said, I also try to learn from my mistakes and not repeat them when I have learnt they Piss other people off and are not to my advantage. This problem is a Minor one and requires nothing more of a fix than you try to chill a bit and perhaps substitute some of the pre-packaged news topics with your own thoughts rather than someone else's and don't push your POV too hard.
  20. Thanks westy. I'll look into that. I think I had things wrong to what I was seeing. it appears the way the other mob are doing it the client has to log into their own Faewaste account and then the pic is uploaded. But I like your idea and I'll give that a go. I can probably set up an album for each event. What I'm looking for now is how I put those icon link things on pages to upload stuff to FW . What this other mob has is like a little notation op up with some advertising text on it. I see there is one of those Icons amongst others right on the bottom of this page. How's that done?? The emailing, printing etc Icons would also be great.
  21. I think I would prefer to avoid Apple (* Don's Kevlar Body armour and helmet and dives into the nearest trench to avoid the incoming flack *) It may prove difficult integrating with everything else I own which is windoze/ PC based and that is something I rather avoid. It can be difficult enough getting stuff to talk now the way I set it up which no one has ever seem to have done before. Often people tell me it won't work even when I have had something working fine for months. Then to explain their Mistake I'm a liar. Anyway, any suggestions of tablets I can look into would be appreciated.
  22. I saw on the news the other night there is an investigation into why people in Oz are bing charged a lot more for electronics, software and apps etc. Like all these investigations, watch it add up to a great big fat Zilch. Just like every single Fuel price enquiry they have. They come up with excuses that are complete and utter insults to a persons intelligence but the gubbermint departments probably on a backhander for election campaigns etc accept the nonsense and the gouging continues. This will be no different and I will have no problem buying OS and stuff the greedy barstools here.
  23. This is why I said to recheck the flow rate. For some reason it seems to be what everyone stuffs up. I don't know how that happens but again it answers the results that didn't gel. Before you go any further though. You still have a problem. The stumbling at 3000 RPM. Like I said, there was no way on gods earth that amount of water/ meth was going to cause stumbling and now you have found the actual rate is a heap lower, That proves even more so. Perhaps you have a blocked Fuel filter or lines or whatever but you do have a problem that is nothing to do with The WI. I suggest you fix that before you worry about anything else. I know you said it cleared when you turned the WI off but that simply does not add up either. Must have been coincidence. 90Ml of water will not bog an engine that siz at that revs down, especially when you didn't see the symptoms lower in the rev range. To me it sound like a fuel delivery problem so you have to have that sorted otherwise you will be thinking the WI is to blame when it's not. Anyway, now you have found the delivery rate is off it explains why you saw no extra power or smoke or whatever. I'd go to 300ml a min and quadruple check the flow rate to make sure that's what your getting. At 200 I think the effect should be noticable but not that significant. you should be putting in around 10Hp worth of extra fuel with a 50% mix so you should begin to see some difference but it may be at the tipping point. If ANYTHING is off this time ( no performance difference etc) First of all go back and check the flow rate again and make sure you are reading it properly. One guy told me he had water running out his exhaust at 150Ml min. I said that was impossible and we had an argument of sorts till he found his numbers were mixed up and he was in fact pumping in a huge 1.5 LITRES a min. His engine was a 3L. That was helpful though to me in that it showed how much water you can pump in with the engine still being able to ( barely) Run and still not break anything. Keen to know how it goes now you have found the problem.
  24. Here's what I'm thinking.... I'd like to have an SSD running the programs as that will give me speed with them right? Then I'm thinking have another SSD with the photos I am working on at the time with. Like an event or a school or whatever. These I only need to work on for a week or so till the job is done and then I can relegate them to Disk or a conventional HDD and wipe the SSD to make room for the next batch. The files are opened, edited, printed, saved, Closed. I like to open about 10 pics at once and then work my way though them and let them sit on the print server while I work on the next files. If I set up a workstation like this: Is it going to be a lot faster running the programs and the image files I'm working on from SSD's? Is wipeing the 2nd SSD going to be a pain, cause issues or bring about any other Hassels? Which SSD brand/ type would be best for what I want, over the top priced " Gaming" units aside? Aside from the actual printing speed mechanics of the printer itself, will SSD's speed up the time in getting the data to the printer and make the pool faster through getting the info out quicker? Oh, and one last thought... Does anyone make an adapter so I can Stick one of these SSD"s in and have 128GB of RAM?
  25. Thinking one of these tablet things may be useful and wondering if people can reccomend something good and suitable for me. I would want to utilise it for showing and sending pics, linking it to my camera with Wi-fi for transfer and backup of pics and If I can linking it to my printers both with a cable and/ or wirelessly so I might be able to click on an image on the screen and Print the thing. Can I run Lightroom or something on these tablets? what about word, excel etc? Not sure what else I can do with it yet but I would prefer one that has a SD card slot I can use for extra memory storage (if any come with them) and have USB ports so I could also plug in a portable hdd. I would like a big screen so I can see the thing as well. If anyone knows any other good photo programs ( business related not putting stupid effects on the images) I'd certainly be interested to know more. I believe some of these things come with a built in camera as well. That might be something I could utilise for the event work. If there was a way to take pics than email it direct to face waste, that would be useful. Any recommendations for what might fit the Bill?
