I like it a lot. What are the Aldi winches like? Do the 'winch' (stand) the test of time? I'm thinking of getting one when they come back out. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What's been happening?
I finally got to drive the truck on the road again, just drove it about 10 km and now it's back at home. Now I can get to it on week nights. Jayden, 3yr old son, hates it when I go play on my truck after work. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You could be right the mk tank especially on the aerial end. I tried to google info on that end but couldn't find anything so just did what I thought was correct by looking at the copper and wires go. I'm 90% sure I did it right though. I have also decided to take it and get it hooked up correctly. Don't want to get out on the tracks and have it stop working on me.

Got a new 4wd action mag today called OFF-ROAD Addiction issue 2 and right near the front of the mag is an mq patrol, with external roll cage and 40in tyres. looks tops. it also says that there will be a full feature in an upcoming mag.

What's been happening?
Thought I'd start another thread for what everyone is doing with their trucks. This weekend I've been fixing my rear bumper needed extra bracing cause of spare tyre carrier, so I'm using angle to beef it up. I also finished paint the lower section of the truck. It's now a white with a black bottom. It's good to have her looking good again. Then I got the horn and blinkers working. Not long now... Sorry about the photos, I only remember to take them when the light is nearly gone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

thanks Mktank, where does one get it checked? auto electrician (doubt) or a dedicated stereo shop? Do the tech's need access to the back of the uhf cause mine is in a front roof console which can be a real b*#ch to take down? By the way I heard another snipit on the uhf today, 2 sec worth.

I'm after a passenger seat lever cover (the one on the door side of the seat that moves the it forward). And also the cord that does the same job. PM if you can help, please.

I resoldered the connector that goes into the UHF (oricom 80ch, the one on sale at autobarn) the truck came with a couple of aerials, a long thin black one and a shorter black one. You can see the base on the bullbar. I will get photos of the 2 aerials cause I have no idea what dB either are. I heard about 2 sec of talk today but later when I asked if anyone was on channel I didn't get an answer.
