Anyone has any experience with these tyres? I was originally after Kelly Safari TSR but they've none available in Oz with ETA unknown. MY next choice was Maxxis MT764 but heard they wear out a bit faster for my liking. I just bought them a week or so ago, first experience seems positive so far, not very noisy I'll test them off road next weekend (Easter) in Flinders. Regards

Hi peeps just wonder if they would take 15 inch wheels and what offset if they do? She's on a set on 315 75 16 muddies and man she's lost lot of power and top speed, I'm thinking if i can get a set of 33' all terrains on 15s as there are more options n cheaper to get compare to 16s, thx Sent from my Nexus 4

Got a phone call this evening from my wife telling me there was a noise coming from the car, luckily she had the sense to stop driving as the rear passenger wheel was very close to separating from the car, I'm talking a few threads left on each nut, what pisses me the most is that all nuts on all the wheels where torqued up to the factory specs on Thursday when I put the factory rims and tyres on. Now seeing that Nissan brought out there cheap gay solution of those pretty little caps, I guess I will have to torque my wheel nuts up every 2-3 days. Not real impressed I can tell you. Guess i'll be going back to aftermarket rims again. Rant over. Sent while tempora…

Has anyone used both types wheels e.g. using OEM alloys for daily drives and steelies for rough/offroad trips. I'm considering doing it this way, steelies to 16" rims and OEM allys 17". Is the change of wheel studs and or wheel nuts required when swapping the rims over? Or will be just the wheel nuts required? Cheers

  10. ....just myself and my son on the way home from the footy. The track seemed OK, a little slushy in spots but plenty of grip beneath so I hadn't locked the auto hubs or deflated the STT's at all and we were just chatting away not particually paying attention. Before I knew it, the climb up out of the gully I had just mindlessly entered was a lot steeper and slippery than I had given it credit and we weren't going anywhere. I tried reversing, but the GU just slewed to the side and before we knew it we were at a diagonal angle and in trouble, so it was out to let the tyres down and have another go... ...all I achieved was sliding further back down into the gully, so I …

  12. Hey Folks, Just wondering anyone has the standard 16" alloys from a GUIV or later. I know they are usually 17", but I have found some 16" variants locally and not sure if they are genuine or not as there is no Nissan stamp on them.

I have try'd a couple now i dont have a on/off road tire cause im broke and can only afford the one set lol I currntly am running 35x12.5x15 Maxxis Creepy Crawlers and am definitly in love with them off road but on road handleing can get a little exciting at times and road noise aint to bad when you think about the agression that tire has, i run mostly irt/rocky tracks with an occasion of mud and…

So I'm researching 2" lifts and would love to get bigger tyres, what will fit my 2002 GU with a 2" lift? What's the ideal size for this lift ?

  16. Started by dronus4x4,

I have these on my GU and have found them to be quite a good tyre. Taken me everywhere the guys with MTZ have gone. Cost was $1250 for 5 a couple of years ago, still plenty of tread on them.
