  1. Finished I stalling my 1" cab lift.. It now sits 620 from center of the front hub to body, and 660 on the rear. Sent from a device which doesn't always agree with my thumbs...
  2. That's nuts.. Sent from a device which doesn't always agree with my thumbs...
  3. Well I've got a lot to look forward to.. Haven't encountered the no.3 yet.. But waiting.. We've had some sad milk vomits when younger and boy there hard to get threw... Great stories Glort Sent from a device which doesn't always agree with my thumbs...
  4. This is no.2 so been threw that already. I Exhausted the dog, cat, house, car, rings, wedding, holiday, camping, boat cruze, another car options a long time ago... Lol As for the heater, sounds unreal.. I think I believe I'm at an unfair advantage though.. WMO has more energy than WVO.. So I should get more heat for less fluid.. And I have my 44 drum. See how quickly I can melt it... Sent from a device which doesn't always agree with my thumbs...
  5. Cheers Glort.. Thanks for the tips. Lol Sent from a device which doesn't always agree with my thumbs...
  6. Ba Glort, with the newborn only 6 weeks out I've been flat out renovating rooms, furniture and hitting the tracks... But I have got an old vacuum cleaner as my air sorce, a small 4ltr gas bottle as the feeder. So for the moment it's on hold as is the house heater which has stalled at 70%. 7. I have been told gq gu are the same chassis.. Why not just fit the same, is one stronger than the other? Sent from a device which doesn't always agree with my thumbs...
  8. Ow the little POS useless slot in the centre console.. Yea, no idea. Probable the opening for the LH drive hand break to go. It's cheaper to just build 1 and adapt I suppose. Sent from a device which doesn't always agree with my thumbs...
  9. Could we get a pic? I'm thinking away bay disconnect?? But not sure Sent from a device which doesn't always agree with my thumbs...
  10. Hay guys. After putting some thought into it.. This is the outcome. It is similar to others out there but different. It fits up using 25mm SHS between the door and wheel carrier, but being one piece it is stronger than the GQ itself.. So I have made it so a mud slinging 35" sporters can fit to when completely collapsed, I'm running 31x10.5's and have 35mm of clearance between the pole and the wall. (I can make shorter collapsed heights but it will affect overall height.) At the 35" hight it extends to 300mm above the roof level for a good all round angle. Any questions feel free to ask. (I have over 10mtrs of steel left if you would like one.) Thanks for looking. Sent from a device which doesn't always agree with my thumbs...
  11. All the best. Keep us updated. Hopefully your friend can be helped Sent from a device which doesn't always agree with my thumbs...
  12. Cut the bonnet and hang it out the top.. Or put a scoop / bonnet bulge to give you the extra height if needed.. Sent from a device which doesn't always agree with my thumbs...
  13. By the sounds of it, after all the stuff he's done for you, you need to put it in the line and try wake him up to himself.. But after seeing several if your little projects flourish use that as a basis leverage point and show him that with a bit if work things can work out. Even if it does stretch the friendship a lot. I don't think I'd be happy to see a life long friend crumble to nothing, especially if I had a chance to change his ways. Sent from a device which doesn't always agree with my thumbs...
  14. ^^ spot on. The carbon fibre rods in the dome tents would attract it just as much.. It's more your surroundings.. But as above, unless your in a finite tent.. ... … Ate you looking for a single pole in centre? The inlaws have a good one. Packs into 70x70cm and is 2.2x2.2m set up. I'll find out the brand Sent from a device which doesn't always agree with my thumbs...
  15. But it gives a point of discussion for items which we should be talking about. Like no fishing zones, parks being closed etc. Between ray and Glort there was all ways something to read.. As I have all ways said if it doesn't interest you keep scrolling. Sent from a device which doesn't always agree with my thumbs...

  19. Geeze you removed some metal to get that 4' on there.. What's holding your 1/4 from flapping about?? Sent from a device which doesn't always agree with my thumbs...
  20. With your heavier setup a set of heavy duty kings will be a smooth ride.. It's more the shocks which affect the ride. I have an OME setup up and it's as rough as hell as it's the heavy duty setup, but I'm hoping once the winch, dual battery, scrub bars, sliders, rear bar and draws go in (that's the wish list..) that it's settles down a little bit..
  21. No Nissan haven't come to there senses... I was working on the car today with my lil girl inside the can as mum had to shoot down the street. Popped my head in the door to find this And it got me thinking that this lil one is the Q's 3rd gen. My parents bought this back in 91 when I was 5yrs old. I was the eldest of 4 (3boys and a girl). As you can guess with 4 kids in the country it copped a beating.. But living in the country is why it's still going with nearly 1/2 million on the clock. It's put me and my 2 bro's threw our drivers license and had multiple camping trips threw the years. Now I have it after the parents went to the dark side (Prado).. And I hope I can make lots of memories with my family like its given my threw my childhood. So surly there are other Q's with stories like mine, post away guys.
