My 2.8 GU
Here is my pride and joy. It is a 1999 Nissan Patrol with the RD28ETi donk. I bought it in 2008 with 116000km on it. The patrol was in great condition but did need a new head replacement before we took it on the first major trip up to the Red Centre. When I bought it, it already had a smart bar, driving lights and UHF. Since then I have added a cargo barrier, fire ext, Red Arc dual battery system, 3" inch exhaust and a 2" Dobinsons lift kit. I would like to add a front LOKKA, winch in the near future. I am currently drawing up plans on building my own drawer system, rear tube bar, flat roof rack and sliders. I do most of the minor mechanical work myself and love getting my hands dirty in and under the little truck. Here are a few pics of the destinations: Thanks for reading. If your in the Adelaide Hills area and want to do a day trip somewhere let me know. Cheers Scott
