Just updated the forum again - This update should provide us with more speed as it now officially supports PHP7. I would appricate it if desktop users could tell me if it feels any faster! I also updated the tapatalk plugin.

Forum Upgrade - V4
The user interface should be heaps more modern - Should be way more usable.. I am getting my designer to make a logo - but will try to keep it minimalistic!

Forum Upgrade - V4
Ok, the upgrade seems to have gone smoothly.. The place is looking a bit 'stock' at the moment, (missing logo etc) - but I will try to get some of that back a little later. Would be interested to hear what you think about the new forum - Its simply an upgrade to the old version. The vendor has been working on it for two years, so it should be good.

Forum Restore - 3rd Feb 2015
Hi Everyone We had a small problem, which caused an entire topic to get deleted, so we resorted to restoring the database from a few days ago. Unfortunatly any new members or posts from about 10pm on the 28th Jan through till about 11pm tonight (3rd Feb 2015) would have gone. My appologies.

Household Plumbing warning.
Copper can be just as bad... The place I used to live in at Kincumber (central Coast) had copper pipes, but around 25 years ago when it was built there was a 'bad batch' so the plumbers say. 25 years on and tiny pinprick holes appear.. They slowly leak water into the wall cavity until you notice swelling and mouldy carpet. Had it happen three times in the one house over a period of 10 years.. Friggen nightmare.

Glind Shower Install - 4.2TDi
Ok - so winter camping trip on the bridle track is now complete. I had one shower while I was there. The water in the river was freeking cold. I learnt that my pickup hose at about 3.5m was simply not long enough, I had the Patrol to close to the water, and at a funny angle, so getting in and out of the car while it was here was a pain. I drove the car non stop for an hour before having the shower, and used the hand throttle to keep it at about 2500RPM while showering. RESULT: With the shower head fully on (no restriction) the water was cold, BUT tollerable. If i restricted the flow down, I could get the water hot, but thats a pain in the arse. I want hot water and lots of it. You get pritty damn smelly after a few days without a shower! I have a friend who has a similar setup in a LPG Landcruiser and the water from his comes out fast and hot.. Maybe its due to the engine temp and the water flow through the heater hoses - Im not sure. But my setup aint hot enough for me.
