Jacket has bought another one.
x2. . . . and she is naturally asthmatic currently. . . . so yes, quite slow -compared to my rb30 turbo GQ anyways lol. I just got home, i had a sleep for a few hrs just north of Cann river(until i nearly froze to death). Car got the normal economy(admittedly a little disconcerting to drive 80km and hardly see the gauge move, Im used to the rb30 now, thats 1/4 of a tank!), i filled up on the hume before the turnoff to canberra, it got home (around 750km) with a 1/3 of the main tank remaining(according to gauge, ill find out for sure when i fill up). i used the subtank. so getting around 12litres per 100kays sitting near as i could on the speed limit. -cruise control is nice. pics in a few hr, im having a shower an gonna have a rest before i face the day.

isn't that in the opposite direction? I flew into Sydney, and I'm heading back to Victoria, I drove past Canberra about 1 1/2 hr ago on my way south.

Jacket has bought another one.
Landed in Sydney at 3:00, started driving after 4. I'm sitting in the Chinese restaraunt in Cooma because the kitchen in the alpine hotel(my usual spot) is shut. It's in the carpark. Drives well... It's slow. I havnt had a slow patrol in ages. but apart from a dent in the passenger sill it's pretty straight, I'll get pics at home tomorrow. Iv told dean(previous owner) I was going to do the build thread here. So there's another member to the ranks.

Trouble with Patrol 4x4.com
Seems the other forum will be down for a while now as they try to fix things. Might get a few members out of it. http://www.patrol4x4.com/forum/forum-news-28/announcements.html

Trouble with Patrol 4x4.com
its like somebody bring a knife to a gunfight. . . .guy with knife "Ill stab you!" -guy with gun. . . "ill shoot ya." insulting forum mods/admin isnt brilliant if you plan on staying a member. On a side note. . . im not sure he could ban anyone. . . he said himself they were locked out of control panel, he said he couldn't even change a thread title.

I just got warned by google that this site contains content from p4x4.com. . . it could be infected! Edit By Admin: More correctly, you were warned that patrol4x4.com has infected content, and that this site contains links to it.

Is it just me?
part of the debacle might be that i think i read somewhere the official owner of the forum is not actually Terry, but his ex-wife. . . . she may very well make things impossible for the forum if she is spiteful or whatever. -im not sure on the details of the breakup. But as far as iv been able to research, the vBulletin p4x4.com uses is from early 2009! without the registered owner doing updates, it WILL die. even if it didn't get anymore infections. . . . it will continue crashing. Iv also found in my research that that version of vBulletin is very unstable, easily hacked, and quite outdated now. . . . admin could easily "steal" the forum and its content, as could many other people. . . . but its VERY illegal. terry(or whoever the registered owner is) has to officially hand it over, or nothing can be done. the forum in its current state is untenable. -have to remember when that software was made, a digital pic was 300kb, a fast pc was a pentium 600, and a sick net connection was 512kb per sec. we spank that on our phones now.

WOW CHEAP GQ
Jacket_1985 replied to GQ Beast's topic in Nissan Patrol GQ/Y60 & Ford Maverick (GQ Patrol, 1988–1997)i love when people advertise a car with "$15k of extras" like 2inch lift, dual batteries, factory bullbar, Chinese winch, homemade drawers, uhf, 33inch tyres. . . . . . . . . . you ring them and say you will take the car how it was stock for 15k less than they are asking. . . . . they spit chips every time. i sell a car i always offer to take stuff off it to make it cheaper. . . . . like you would if the stuff on your car was worth anything.

Jacket has bought another one.
I can. i am buying them from: Allan Cuthill @ racebred4wd. Phone: 03 5134 1007 i am paying $2,400au for 4x shocks and the king racing steering damper. This includes Australian warranty, custom valving, canister brackets, damper mounts, and shimming. Last time i bought direct from the states and it didnt work out much cheaper after you buy all the other bits and pay for valves/shims. He will be doing my complete suspension kit this time. my diff lamination, and my lockers.
