  9. After talking to Overkill Engineering all morning he has explained and showed me where to make adjustments in the setup for what im trying to achieve and after a few hours under the truck and on the calculator i have finally produced this This is the best possible outcome available with what i want to do and how i want to do it without loosing ground clearance by lowering the frame mounts below the chassis line. Iv run a simulation with 37/38" tyre combos along side the 35" tyre for everyday use and the figures with the 37/38 only change the roll understeer by 1 more point so with a couple of adjustment positions in the frame mounts i should be able to fine tune the suspension to range from 33-40" tires no problem. The calculator is available from http://www.pirate4x4.com/forum/showthread.php?t=204893 its a free download but you will need microsoft excel to use the programe.

Iv herd good things about the Armada's but no real life experiance in my hands, best shocks iv owned so far would be the 45mm Tough Dog adjustable shocks for the front they are great but the rear im not liking them. When you do decide on a shock please post up your experiance with them as ill def be in the market for Armada's in a few months

  17. Possible easy way to offer members the chance to donate would be to add a automated paypal thing that you may need to connect to a seperate account just to house the funds for the site and what nots, i was part of another forum ages ago that used one and was a big succsess as it was a hassel free way to donate to the forum to keep it running, it even showed the last 10 people who donated and how much and in my experiance if alot donate a litte its better then a few donating alot.

im running the tough dog 45mm 6" adjustable shocks atm and im pretty impressed for what they are, the front adjustments are very noticable but the rear i dont seem to get any difference in hard or softness of the ride just a slower/faster rebound but in saying that i do have no weight in the arse of my Dual cab so maybe on a wagon they would work alot better. But yes ring Shane he is right on que with whats best for what you want out of your 4b $1200.00 will get you shocks and coils and good ones not cheap sh|t.
  19. How does it distinguish the difference between whats water and whats diesel?

  21. Cheers mate, i cant wait for my Superior flexi arm and drop boxes to arrive and finish off my 3 link rear then ill take some flex shots oh and im dropping my lift back down to 6" total which is 4" coil and 2" body. i have a massive list of mods to do alot of stuff will be home brewed not off the shelf so only time will tell how far i go with this rig.
