  1. Top work Ray.. I have just one question.. Do you have a job?? You always seem to be fiddling with stuff.. I'm jealous...
  2. Top job.. My grandpa always said never compromise on tyres or brakes.. There the 2 most important things to keep you on the road and outta the guy in fronts boot... And so try.. I've never had a crash, a faulty brake or a tyre aquaplane... Touch wood..
  3. Yep.. But no need to worry, those utes couldn't pull a sheep to safety.. Let alone a trailer.. It's really a patrol but CGI put the Holden there...
  4. My wife just made a good point that by having this site it may inform potential boat people of our regulations and what expect when landing.. Instead of being brain washed by the boat loaders...
  5. Viruses don't favor fancy names.. As soon as you've logged on the sites are searching your CP. I recommend a blocker as posted above. AVG are also one of the best virus protection systems you can get IMO..
  6. Interesting front mount.. 12mm bolts I'm guessing? Could we get a fitted pic??
  7. Well have you noticed on google, Facebook etc that the adds are 90% of the time things your interested in.. The site is basically talking to your computer and searching your 'cookies' for recently visited sites.. They say there increasing the users enjoyment.. More like increasing the hole in your wallet and computers protection...
  8. LMFAO.. And all so bloody true.. Love it

Enough silicone to Reno a bathroom I recon.. What a waste... Of silicone..
  10. Good point. I'll keep looking?
  11. Does this look the goods?? NISSAN COM PATROL GQ & GU 87-97 Panhard rod Bushes Bush Kit http://bit.ly/K4lu4a
  12. All the other bushes were changed when the lift went in (15 months ago) to correct camber and diff angle, and all bearings and kingpins were checked at that time to.. So yea, in my eyes this just leaves the panhard rod. So Ray in guessing the outer sleeve is a sung (press fit) into the rod?? If not how does that go for wear being steel in steel?? Cheers guys
  13. Hi guys. The old tank has had the death wobbles for a while now and the 2" lift just made it worse.. So I'm starting with the panhard rod bushes.. There genuine at the moment with 480 000 k on them so probably a little overdue anyway.. Just wondering what material people have found to be the best result and how long they last? Ie rubber, poly, uhmw??? Also I notice some come with an outer sleeve and some don't. Any reason for that outer sleeve?? Cheers
  14. Ok.. Dam.. Mine has to be September 91 fleet... So you still have to physically lock them even though there 'auto'?
  15. How reliable are they first of all?? And can the be retro fitted to a GQ??
  16. That's an epic week...
  17. Hell.. So you guys often come down do ya's?? I could be keen for an August trip.. Depends on if we do the border track..
  18. LMFAO.... But it's all so true...
  19. So did ya get home or are ya still out there??
  20. Comin SA boyz. Any name ideas?
  21. Geese these newer patrols don't seem to be made like the old tanks. My GQ has 480K on the whole original drivetrain (except for breaks and tyres, and suspension coz I wanted a lift..) I would have hoped for a few more than 100k out a set..
  22. Ok. Are you guys taking about GQ's or GU's.. Mine has 3 contacts. And each set is in pairs. One for side lights, one low and one high..
  23. A chain does stretch and spring back. But the rings will deform before snapping
  24. Ok. No hi beam dash light.. Will investigate that one.
