  1. All done. Was pretty easy in the end. Whacked some more htb grease in there while I was at it, and tightened everything up.. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  2. Cheers if I can get a mate to help me get the winch in and out I'll give it a shot this weekend. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  3. Whoops sorry! Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  4. EWww 2.2.. don't go there unless your desperate or can hack it. At least 2.3 or 4.01 .. they are out there... Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  5. There is nothing challenging that is free close to Adelaide. We have to go and pay stations to stay on their land and do their tracks. Its a real shame the amount of tracks that are gated off. I have been to most of the stations now, friendly people and some good tracks. Victoria has some of the most beautiful countryside, and great 4wding and camping so close to civilization. We love going over there and envy you guys who have it so good, so close to your doorstep. To answer the question in the topic I give it two thumbs up. Plus you have aldi, but that's another thread Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2

I tried win8 also as a key came with my tech net subscription. I didn't like it and found myself switching to the normal desktop pretty fast. If I remember correctly its the control panel or desktop settings which is permanently in the Ghey interface which is annoying. Luckily I just spun it up as a VM on the work hosts and San so I reakon I've deleted it already... Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  7. I saw a tablet in aldi wangaratta when I was over there at Xmas. It looked pretty good. If it has Bluetooth it might support a Bluetooth GPS.. I have a few of them kicking around somewhere. Fairly cheap on eBay.. That is if the Bluetooth isn't mangled and supports com ports. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  8. Sorry, mine came with a winch bar.. hope u find what you are looking for.. maybe a second hand winch bar? Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  9. I also found that changing the back light brightness in the options it makes it more bearable at night. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  10. This is the song that never ends, it goes on and on my friends, somebody started singing it not knowing what it was, and they will continue singing it forever just because this is the song that never ends............... Unknown composer... hope you all get it stuck in ya head today though!! Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  11. Took roof rack off and draws out of the back as I don't have any big trips planned for a while. With all the crap out of the back the car looks like it sits 1-2" higher.. all the gear must weigh a bit! Can put the dogs in the boot now, my rear seats can get a clean! Still got half the flinders in/on the car.. might treat it to a wash and polish this weekend if I can get motivated. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  12. I need to do this on my tigerz. I used it last weekend and getting to the handle could be easier if it wasn't pointing towards the engine! What did u have probs with? Lining something up? Interested to hear how you go. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  13. I'm really looking forward to the day that one of these articles get posted with "they are available right now from xyz... rather than "we don't know when pre orders will be taken." And then... need to port the ecutalk software to android.... that would be cool. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  14. They were saying on the "news" this morning how real estate agents are now using Facebook and nearmap to checkout people and their current rental property who have applied to rent properties. Some say its an invasion of privacy looking at publicly available information, however that is a pretty big contradiction of terms if I've ever heard it. If you are stupid enough to put it up on the net to get some "likes" or "comments" without thinking that the whole world can see it... well need I say more.
  15. Westfield car park on a Saturday morning? Just kidding Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  16. Emptied it after getting back from 3 days driving around the flinders. Had an awesome time. Only minor damage to the rear bar.. have to fix that one day.. Now to plan the new rear draws, got a few ideas..... Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  17. Ahh just in time. Chuck your swag in the back and meet us out at willangi station this weekend for some 4wding... I'm heading up today but the rest are heading up tomorrow...
  18. I was in Melbourne last week. I refuse the offer of a hire car these days and just use the cab charges... much less stressful. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  19. Just wondering if anyone with a new model tigerz11 12k Grande winch can take a photo of the sticker showing the position of the handle in the engaged and free spool positions? I've mounted mine and I can't recall which way it is... also is it the little pointy end or the bigger end that points to the position? I'm guessing engaged is 180degrees from free spool but I just want to be sure. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  20. Got any details on how to do this? Perhaps a few lines and pics as a DIY thread? Extra 20l would be handy! Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  21. Just work out what your trigger is, or was, that's the best thing to do.. best way to work that out is to write down what you were doing at the time of a craving. Actually write it down on paper.. by the time you have written it down the craving will have gone. In the coming days and weeks you can read back on those things and work out how to deal with them (avoid situation, change something, whatever) Also, drink lots of water, it will help your body recover. I used to smoke at least a pack of 30's a day but gave up overnight when my daughter was born. Find a motivation and stick to it! Once the cravings are getting far and few between you will wonder why you did it in the first place. Social situations where you would normally "duck out few a quick smoke with the guys" you will notice... especially in winter when they have to go out side. Chuck all the ashtrays out, if you used to smoke outside your house mix some pine o clean in a bucket of water and wash the area down... you'll still smell it later ! My wife smokes and when she comes in from outside i can smell the stink of ciggerettes, I hate it! You are doing really well! Keep it up! Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  22. Found time to test out the winch and land anchor.. Works well, winch is noisy though.. Filled all the holes back in after getting some weird looks from the neighbors. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  23. put a potentiometer inline with the power to my boost gauge so I can adjust the brightness (or turn the light off) Also put bug screen back on. Site supervisors Put draws back in for this weekends trip Still working on the usb installs Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
  24. Very cool.... I've put a pre order in for a pi.. see how long it takes.. Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
