Drove 1080km, mostly with a 600mm x1200mm sign standing up on the roof. I used both tanks and had to drop a jerry can in 80km from home. I think that averages about 12.5l per 100km. I'm happy. Oh yeah, i poked around in the fuel tank when I got home and bent my breather up a little to fit some more fuel in. I cant remember where I saw how to do it but thanks to the poster for the info

You guys seem to know a lot more about glow plugs than me so I need to get slightly off topic. If I try to start my GU after glowing it twice until the dash light goes out, it cranks for ages and fires with a huge cloud of smoke. If I only glow it until the light goes out and kick it in the guts, it fires and runs like a dream????? Any ideas why? Sorry to hi jack just a little.

Is the auto Choke sticking on?. I threw the one on my old GQ to the sh1thouse and bought a cable from Burson. Went great after that.

I use diesel to light mine. Much safer and it works.

Dont worry about the zd30 pump too much. I run black diesel (sump oil blend). The only problem I have encountered is whan I filled up out of the wrong drum by accident. I put 40l of oil sludge into my tank. The stuff was that thick that I hit limp mode and drove 800km home at 85kmh. The lift pump died but a new lift pump and tank clean, all is well again.

Drove it 1000km. Condobolin. NSW to Brigalow. Qld. Needs a wash now lol. They permitted the load to travel on a zig zag route all over NSW, It was a good trip tho :-)

Thats why I want to know if anyone has tried these and do they work as well as the advertising blurb says, before I waste $200+ and have to flog them off on Fleabay

You just upload the pics to your FW profile and they are available to anyone that you have listed as a friend. all you need is internet access and a your log in details. Have a look in the middle of your "home" page and there is a link to add photo or video.

Fixed my boost leak at the EGR pipe with a second plate (the pipe seems to have warped). Made my catch can "Atmospheric venting", I was still getting oil in the intercooler. Cleaned my I/c and hoses out. Had another fiddle with the dawes/needle valve. I now get 300 degrees at 5psi boost @ 100kmh. I'm happy. Also ran the wires to my drivers side tail and reverse lights. Haloooo Christmas tree

Fitted my Depo tail lights (now have to run wires for the right tail and reverse light) , changed the oil and will grease it in the morning :-)

I have found that the best way to get into child proof packaging is get a kid to open them. I know that sounds like I am joking but its true.
