Every other forum I've been on will not allow the use of the most basic words used in general conversation in Australia. Here I can say cock (as in rooster), Dick (as in a truncation of Richard) , prick (as in thorn in finger), arse (no need to elaborate) etc and it is simply liberating! It's just bloody cool to be able to write without the PC Computer Police editing common words available in every dictionary. So what makes this forum software so different to all the others? Cheers Ray

This morning was OK, pretty average with nothing much happening ( as usual) but the afternoon picked up quite nicely. Had an appointment to go see someone about a contract type Job. I was confident I'd get the gig after having spoken to them on the phone and being worth about $10K, was rather keen to get it. Much to my great satisfaction, not only did I get that job, but a bigger one was well with one of their other centres. All up about $25K worth of work over a month. Should start in about 2-3 weeks. Stoked. When I got home I had an email for another gig I put in for ( way back last year) and they wanted to find out If I was still available in 2 weekends time. …

That's what it was this morning and still only 2 deg at the moment. I need to get a wood fired heater ASAP, so that I can keep a fire going all day and night. Still can't figure out why the previous owner installed a gas fired heater. Bloody 45kg bootles empty quicker than a keg at 21st. Cheers Ray

Yesterday I received a phone call from someone asking for my wife. I said that she's away for a few weeks and said may I ask who's calling, so that I can let her know you called. The response that I received was 'I'm afraid I can't reveal that due to privacy laws.' WTF? What have privacy laws got to do with saying who is calling? The world is just going completely insane. Cheers Ray

As the thread went...... MiniMackGQ So your turbo is leaking oil or your bearings have worn out? Checking that your turbo is not being over or under supplied is easy. The way we do it where i work is : Make sure oil level in sump is good. One person in car with stop watch and another under the hood. Remove oil feed line to turbo and any fittings in top of turbo fit back to oil feed line. You need to catch the oil in a measuring jug. Start the engine run at idle and when the oil comes out the line start timing 15 secs. Shut engine off, running turbo for 15secs at idle is not a problem but if you have to repeat test use oil can to pump some oil into oil feed. You then t…
